She was what? 19 at the time? sheeesh - this is unreal. Clearly, she's unbalanced. There has to be a statute of limitations on these outrageous accusations unless witnesses can back her up. Even then, if a woman or child is molested it is important to come forward QUICKLY.

Mahoney has blown the handling of somne of the priests cases, but this woman is clearly a whack job.

I am beginning to think this whole thing has become demonic.

Speaking of false allegations, was there ever any conclusion to the story out of Denver regarding the lesbian who said she was attacked by three white guys, but she refused a polygraph test?

This allegation is probably spurious. No one in the press seems to remember a few years back when all the headlines read "Chicago Cardinal Accused of Molestation" - and then the accuser admitted a few weeks later that it was all a hoax.
I guarantee that when this woman's deception comes to light, the press will mention it on page 36, not page one.
Not that Mahony is any great shakes as a Cardinal.

She's admitted to being
schizophrenic. Mahony should countersue and have her committed.

I'm local to Los Angeles.
A different woman last week claimed that her priest (in Carson, south of Los Angeles) not only had sex with her when she was fifteen, but that he arranged orgies with up to for priests at a time, and finally, that he arranged for her to return to the Phillipines to have an abortion.
The problem with these absurd stories is that they will detract from the truth.

It was just a matter of time before the kookburgers started coming out of the woodwork.
