LMAO. South Park takes on the Envirals on a regular basis!!!
Go Cartman!

Another quote:

Allright children, let's settle down.
As you know this coming Friday is EarthDay.
And I'm pleased to announce that
The National EarthDay Organization
has chosen South Park
as its location for the
EarthDay Brainwashing Festival!

We need an open war on the animal rights lunatics who are responsible, not just for millions of dollars of damage to commercial enterprises, but to university laboratories working on new cures for disease and ways to aid our agricultural communities.

Bump!

...Environmentalists are communists wrapped up in a different cloak...

Your heart is in the right place, however, environmentalists are NOT communists. Environmentalists and communists are both statists. A statist believes the government has the right and the obligation to run your life for you, for your own good because you are incapable of making the right decisions on your own.

Some will say that is just semantics, but I believe it is necessary for us to fight the right battles for the right reasons.

If you examine the politicians today you will find that the vast majority of all the parties are statists. Liberty is fading.

Statism
---The doctrine that your life, money and property are not yours, but the property of the state. You may act only by the permission of others. The power a statist wields comes from the willing support of the victim (you).

...We have to end government policies that have led to more than 73 million acres of America being put off limits to the use of Americans...

Nowhere in the Constitution was the federal government granted the power to take land from the states for any purpose. We need an amendment that forever forbids the federal government from appropriating any land in any state. What the feds do in the territories is a seperate matter. The creation of parks should be a matter for the states to decide.

Thanks for the ping.
I'm surprised that the Los Angeles Times actually published an article about the
new study showing that drilling for oil in the northwest corner of ANWR
really shouldn't have any effect on caribou.

Slowly, a bit at a time, it seems the tide might be going in the direction of sanity
on the environmental issue.
