President Bush concluded his weekend meeting with British Prime Minster Tony Blair today in Crawford, TX. Blair spoke to a crowd at George Bush Senior Presidential Library Center at College Station, Texas where he said that Iraq must allow weapons inspections or face the consequences. President Bush headed back to the White House this afternoon. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Now wait JUST a minute. NordP is in San Diego which is, of course, in good standing. Just where is Brad's Gramma? I need details before we exempt her too!

Oh, I know that, BG. I lived in Redlands for about a gazillion years, remember?

Excuse me while I turn on my faucet and let it run.

I for one would loved to be pinged on these occasions. Please count me in as a willing participant and a BUSHBABE at that. I will help out in any way I can. And yes you are right this time change is a drag. I also must go to sleep now. Enjoyed the evening with all and thanks for pinging me on this one.

Since I'm in charge of doling out the wet stuff I'd suggest you be real nice to me. It's not NICE to fool MOTHER NATURE, Grannie!

Tell your friends to take an old coffee can (empty) and fill it half full with coins. Close the lid, and shake it when you want them to be quiet. Doxies are typically VERY smart, and VERY stubborn, and don't respond to kindly to traditional training methods--ESPECIALLY, when it comes to barking. James has a deep voice though...not yippy. I hear yah with the yip thing. Our other dog, an orphan from the pound, named Oliver is a Lhasa Apso...has a yip sound for a bark that could break glass!

Tell your friends that with the "Penny Can" they will have to toss it on the ground in front or around the dog somewhere, the first time and say "NO!" That will REALLY make them pay attn. Their little ears are so sensitive they won't have to do that again, just shake it from that point on, and say a firm "NO." I'd be interested to hear if that helps. It sure does here. All I have to do now, is say, "Do you want me to get the Penny Can?" and he shuts up.

Well then, you too are exempted. Orange County is, afterall, the real birthplace of conservatism in California.

Okay, so it's Northern California - although it's hardly a hotbed of conservatism - , the valleys, Orange County and San Diego county. Hmmm... I think we may have to carve up a bit of NoCal too. I say, in the Bay Area, we keep the Pennisula, the South Bay and the very East Bay. Drop off Marin County and the near East Bay. Forget about Humboldt County but Mendocino, Sonoma, Napa and the rest are fine.

In summary, it appears to me that the places without water will be Humboldt, San Fran, Marin, Oakland, and LA. Sounds good to me. Although I do still love the City by the Bay.

We'll have to use that as "code" HSM.

"Don't make me get the Penny Can!"

They'll think we're crazier than they thought we were! ha ha!

I am all for this idea! Why should they get to keep the beautiful Pacific Coastal areas and San Francisco? SF is the most beautiful city in the world, imo!

Phew! In spite of SOME people around here, who shall remain unnamed....I say thanks!!!!

NordP....my daughter moved back in with us for a few months last August (ahem!) with her miniature dachsund that drives me crazy with the yipping and the howling at the fire engines. I AM going to try that one, and I will report back.

If I remember. Remind me? Please?

OK, I'm gonna go check out the Forum, take out the trash and get to bed!!! Nite all!
