President Bush concluded his weekend meeting with British Prime Minster Tony Blair today in Crawford, TX. Blair spoke to a crowd at George Bush Senior Presidential Library Center at College Station, Texas where he said that Iraq must allow weapons inspections or face the consequences. President Bush headed back to the White House this afternoon. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Okey dokey. Then we in Northern California can keep our water, right? My aunt who lives in the Eureka area was complaining about sending all of their water to Southern California, and I said, what would you prefer, giving them the water they need or having them move up by you where there's water? ;~)

I can't believe it! I posted to you, went to make hot chocolate and grilled french bread, came back and there were 50 additional posts. This thread is cooking!
Speaking of cooking and Ramen, what a coincidence. I saw on Home Matters the other day a cook making stuff using Ramen noodles and two sounded so great I wrote them down and tried the first one yesterday. So good, so fast, so cheap. If you like Egg Foo Yung...whip up two eggs, add a little of the flavoring packet and soy sauce then stir in the cooked drained noodles and fry a big crunchy noodle pancake in a little oil for about a minute or two then flip over and fry for a minute, then serve with chopped scallions. Yes!!! That and the other recipe are her teenagers favorite do-it-yourself snacks or meals.

OK, you old-almost bat. You may NOT keep all of your water. You may keep some of your water. Not all of your water. We, in SoCal......well, we would like some. Some. Not all. Please? Pretty please?
How ya feeling??????
rintense.....excellent thread ya got going here!

**When we moved to CA in 74 from MN...no more orange trees...Just like that! **
I lived in Redlands from 68 to 88. Orange groves everywhere...smudgepots in the winter...orange blossoms in the spring...until J.J. Ramirez started selling off the orange grove land. That began in 82 I think. Now there are strip malls and apartment buildings, roads and sidewalks and all sorts of concrete jungle junk. BLech.

I hope Chelsea will be happy and that she is smart enough to realize what her parents are and changes her direction. For now she is a product of her upbringing.

That Cocker Spaniel is SO cute...come on... It's all cute and cuddly until you put that mug on a two legged human "clubbing" through Europe with some androgynous waif called an "Ian Klause". Bye fun! Hello pain!

Hey Ohio...what about the scheme to combat the Bush bashers? Well, I for one, who come here infrequently because of my schedule (except at Dose time of course!) would love to be notified of the threads where the bashers bash so I could lend a hand if needed.
The best plan, IMO, is to have a list of willing participants, and then when help is needed (as against ole Buckeroo), privately freep a few, or ping them (although, that usually comes to the attention of the basher).
There is strength in numbers, and as I said on last night's Dose, we outnumber the creeps.
Not only that, but Bush Babes (and Bucks) are smarter, wittier, and more articulate than they are, and are also armed to the teeth with facts to counter the lies the bashers dish out.
Does that sound like a plan?
Sorry, but if you reply, I'll have to get it in the morning! It's late here in the East, and the time change always throws me for a loop! LOL!

Now there's an idea worth pondering!

My Dachshund, James, is sitting here next to me asleep - he made me type that before he dozed off...course we are both dog lovers, first, that's probably why we had to stick up for the canine dog.

Okay. My final offer is this: conservatives can move to Northern California. We have the water and the fertile soil. Southern California rots like Death Valley. Deal?
To: NordP
All 'drop kick dogs' remain in Southern California.

Supposedly in June, But who knows? It could be part of Bill Clinton trying to spin his legacy, Maybe Bill figures if he walks her down the isle, the rumors of Webster Hubbell being the father will be put to rest :-)
