Indeed there is a double standard for some posters. You're right to criticize the tasteless comments evidenced on this thread; conservatives should be above this childish behavior.

Originally, I wanted to see whether the story was legit (or from some tabloid). After clicking on the thread, I continued to read the responses, but was dismayed to see many of the same behaviors we condemn when liberals are the initiators. Later, I saw that BoPepper felt the same way, and I figured I'd lend BP my support. Is that okay with you?

Perhaps you have me confused with another poster. All I did was tell BoPepper I agreed with his/her comment that conservatives should hold themselves to higher standards than liberals. YOu're the one who saw fit to interject yourself into BP and my conversation.
