Daylight Saving Time, for the U.S. and its territories, is
NOT observed in Hawaii, American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico,
the Virgin Islands, the Eastern Time Zone portion of the
State of Indiana, and by most of Arizona (with the
exception of the Navajo Indian Reservation in Arizona).

The silly thing about Arizona is that though they don't call it Daylight Savings Time, they are, in effect, actually observing it. What they do is switch to PST during the Daylight Savings Time period, then they go back to Mountain Time when it's over. Same thing for them - just a more complicated way to observe it....for the REST of the US. (I got this straight from an AZ FReeper's mouth...uh, fingers, I mean.) If they just called it MST, then the time difference between them and the rest of the United States would always be the same, but NOOOOOOOOOO, they don't want to be like everybody else!
