Wouldn't this whole sad mystery of these juvenile bombers make a great deal more sense if the allegations made yesterday by the Israeli government are true...these kids are under the influence of drugs at the time they take their own lives.

According to a C-SPAN caller who grew up in Korea, suicide bombings were used against the Japanese occupation during WWII and Korean children are still taught that the suicide bombers were heroes. China also had suicide bombing campaigns against the Japanese occupation. And the Japanese had kamikazi suicide pilots.

In both those cases, the targets were military or governmental, not civilian.

Someone needs to buy them, make them, and hide them. Someone needs to train — i.e., brainwash — you.

Someone needs to dress up little children in fake dynamite and tell them it's a wonderful thing to do, that the only thing more wonderful is to do it for real, that Mommy and Daddy and the entire community will just love them so much for doing it, that the child's life is only completely fulfilled as a hero if he uses it to blow up Jews (the implication being that if he doesn't want to then he's a coward and against old forehead-cutting Mom and dear old take-the-kid-out-to-throw-rocks-at-soldiers-while-Pop-shoots-at-them Dad and his brave uncles and aunts and--gosh--just about everybody who he cares for and who cares for him).

The point is the use of deliberate suicide. But all sides in every conflict the world has ever known have allowed themselves to kill civilians as well as soldiers.

This article is right on the money. How many American's know how to make a bomb so that they can blow themselves and others to pieces? How come the main stream media never report what is chemical composition of the explosives used by the "suicide bombers"? I haven't seen a blue light special on bombs at K-Mart. Maybe it is due to the bankruptcy. How come the main stream media never report that when Arafat told Palestianians to stop the violence back when the Olso Accords were signed - that the violence stopped? How come the main stream media never report the ceaseless violations of those same Accords by the P.A.? How come the main stream media never report actual translations of P.A. radio broadcasts? Well I think we all know why.

IMHO this whole thing constitutes serious child abuse. Maybe we should send Child Protective Services over the Palestine and take those children away from their parents and put them into stable foster homes.

In the Soviet Union suicide bombers of the World War II were called heroes as well. There were highly popularized examples of pilots exhausting all the armaments in the heat of the battle or having their own plane badly damaged and than ramming into the German planes or ground targets (tanks, etc.). Or cases of infantry men strapping grenades around the body and crawling under the German tanks. I don't know about any examples of glorifying any attacks of the soviets against German civilians.

Yup. I talked to one of my teenage boys about this. If he's in a black mood, he can't just go and blow himself up and a piece of the world, too. Its not like he can go the hardware store and order and explosive belt, youth size large, with left hand pocket detonator; or go to the local youth group and pick one up. The Israelis are spot-on about this infrastructure--indoctrination, training, and materials. It takes a factory, a command structure, a scouting structure to pick targets and supply the "martyrs" with their exploding outerware. Why aren't the non-Muslim nations' leaders jumping up and down on this in plain English (or whatever language they speak)? It is sooooo obvious!

Suicide bombing is one of the few effective tactics available to these creeps. The IDF clobbers their soldiers and the police make planted bombs difficult.

Exactly the point. There is a difference between the kamikazie smacking into an American flattop (as much pain, horror and misery thatr causes) and one of the brainwashed human bombs entering into a cafe in Tel-Aviv.

The Pals may not care about the difference, but it's why the West bank has been reoccupied.

If it had been a 40 year occupation/war and if they could have killed German civilians, of course, they would have.

The topic is deliberate suicide/the mentalityof deliberate suicide. Its not something new to the world; we just hear/read a lot of propaganda that its new. (Along with propaganda that the Muslims are in it to get "72 virgins in paradise.")
