It seems appropriate to think of the Final Days at this point in mankind's history.
- The Jews are back in Israel
- Scientists are discovering the secrets to life and the universe.
- People from different countries no longer have problems communicating (computer based instant translation).
A short explanation of some of what I think:
- I think that when Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit they started the mutation of mankind's DNA. As the DNA got more messed up, men's lives became shorter. (The early patriarchs, with more perfect DNA than ours, lived longer lives). Scientists are getting near the point where they understand DNA enough to "create" and prolong man's life, reversing the death and disease Adam and Eve initiated.
- I think the Tower of Babel was destroyed by God because God wanted to stall mankind's advance in these areas, until the End Times. The tower builders wanted to show they were like gods (ie, discover the secrets of life and the universe). It was not yet time (according to God's plan) for them to start on the road to such scientific advancement, so He interferred with people's ability to communicate. Computers are reversing this language problem.
Please don't assume I am anti-science...I think some scientific "advances" are good and some are evil.
I'm awaiting the appearance of the two witnesses, who will be killed and raised from the dead, but I know God works in His own time. With satellites, the whole world will be able to see this.
2 interesting facts that have occurred this year that lead me to believe we are atleast leaning toward the end times are: EU and the 1 money currency now adopted throughout Europe; and the passage of a chip that can tell who you are and stats about you that may or may not be the beginning of the "mark of the beast" encryption...Events are definitely unfolding!
