And what do you think are the chances for this to be covered on the Sunday Evening News? Somewhere between a snowball's chance in hell and when hell freezes over entirely!

This comes under the subject of "Why We Fight"
Somehow or other, there are no rallies in support of suicide bombers, no chants of "death to the Moslems" or "death to the Palestinians," no threats to throw an entire region of the world into war, etc. Compare & contrast with Moslem/Arab demonstrations.
It disgusts me that so many people think that we should be "evenhanded" between the sides. The choice is stark and simple: either you are with the terrorists, the murderers, the war-lovers, the intolerant religious bigots... or you are against them. I proudly choose to be in the latter camp, and cannot wait for the day when the official policy of this country is the same.

U.S. citizens who are of Jewish ancestry vote about 85% Democrat and this has always flummoxed me. Look who are the strongest supporters of Israel--it's conservatives, notably CHRISTIAN conservatives.
Truth be known, if members of the House and Senate had to make a choice between support of Israel and support of Palestine, it would be the GOP who would back Israel.
The black caucus is usually virulently opposed to Israel.
Maybe this episode will shake U.S. Jewry from their slumber and reveal to them who's really on the side of Israel.

Its about time the Jewish people broke their silence. Their brethen in Israel very badly need their support in this very difficult time. It is giving comfort to Israelis knowing that they will have precious time needed to complete the operation to dismantle the terrorist infrastructure and take care of the so called "Arafat problem."

Sure wish there were some pro-Israel demonstrations in Chicago. (If there are any, I haven't see them publicized.)
But there have been lots of pro-Palis, mostly students it appears, in the Loop, bullhorns and all -- getting the press attention they're looking for.
