April '69 we were making our return trip to Norflok VA.
We entered Pearl Harbor at sunrise, on the far side of the island to off load ammo.
Now remember this is before cable TV or the internet.
As we are docking at the pier we look up and see Zeros flying overhead.
The entire crew, including the Captain, was "stunned."
We had just finished our time in war, were we in the Twilight Zone?
Someone on the pier realized what was going on and shouted they were filming a movie. LOL
Yep, it was Tora, Tora, Tora
