Since we are dependent on oil, albeit foreign oil, it behooves the greens to get on the bandwagon and be part of the solution, not part of the problem.

Should the Middle East war(s) trump the flow, the greens will be squashed in their blatant distortions for development of ANWR. Competing for leases with bonds for ecological safeguards should be required to satisfy everyone. If lease holders are rewarded for ecological sensitivity, it would seem that oil exploration is the short term answer to our dependency.

With 19+ million acres and actual development of only about 2,000 of those acres, it would seem wise to listen to Alaskans like Stomper who overwhelming favor ANWR oil exploration and who know what they are talking about.

I heard the Greenies are putting out ads based on the "if you buy drugs you support terrorists" ads.

Their ads say "if you buy oil (for your SUV) you support terrorists".

So our response should be "if you buy oil from the Middle East, you support terrorists. Buy Alaska oil."
