im with limbaugh... and wheres the outrage? bethlehem and jerusalem under palestinian control? 100 plus pallies holed up in the church of the nativity? suppose jews hid at mecca? think about that! we can not reward terrorism, under ANY circumstances. but bush whacker said the terrorist attacks endanger their hope for a palestinian state. screw a palestinian state. to let the pallies have a state that is 120 square feet is too much REWARD FOR TERRORISM! the palestinians must get no state, and suffer for their promotion of terror. did they look humble and humiliated on september 11th when the men, WOMEN, and CHILDREN were DANCING IN THE STREETS REJOICING AT THE SUCCESSFUL ATTACKS ON THE US????? wake up people!!

You do realize that the terrorists WANT to turn this into a global war between Islam and everything else, don't you?

You might stop to consider that the diplomatic efforts which are visible all revolve around structuring every Western response such that a full-scale religious war does not ensue.

Because that way, we get to pick them off one by one at a schedule of our choosing, rather than having to fight them all at once...

Hate to burst your ignorance but Bethlehem has been under Palestinian control since the mid nineties when the Israelis traded land for peace (sic). Additionally, more than half of Jerusalem was under Palestinian control from 1948 until the 1967 war when Israel was able to capture the city.

You worry too much. The Palestinians are aware of the value of those sites. They bring in hard currency. Other than terrorism, the West bank has little economic activity except tourism based on the pilgramage of Christians.
