'Never talk to a wizard.Given that a psychologist has NEVER healed a disturbed patient, and can do grave damage to a serviceman's career should he commit the most minor slip ... would you say anything to one? Typical small-minds mentality. ... After you reward the terrorists, make certain you torment the staff.

How right those Marines are not to talk to a psychiatrist. They should also never tell the Chaplain about any problems they are having because the Chaplain will also report them to the Commanding Officer. I speak from experience.

If you haven't read it yet, this is a related story about the treatment of the detainees:
Guantanamo's Unhappy Campers Also, did anyone see Charlie Daniels on Hannity & Colmes the other night? He also said the treatment these terrorists are getting is too good for them.
To: TomServo
I wonder why the Red Cross, Amnesty International et al. are not coming to the aid of our troops. Using their logic, if the treatment of the prisoners is substandard, the the treatment of the troops must be really substandard. But, I guess the RC and AI use a different, more liberal standard that only works one way.

more 'political correctness' by 'taking the high moral ground' and bendover backwards for the world's media to see & scrutinize how we're treating the Taliban & Al Queda prisoners led to all this crap.
This strikes to the heart of the troops morale if we're really treating the dogs better than the guards.

explode with seemingly inexplicable rage I dunno. Reading this article, I'm thinking any display of anger/rage would be totally explicable.

Oh BS. I can't imagine anyone wanting to trade places with one of these prisoners.
This is excellent spin, though. It might counteract all the allegations by euroweenies about how cruelly we are treating these terrorists.

Why is this Lance Cpl. talking to the press?
I know for a fact that these guards are being rotated in and out and are being built quarters with a/c....Bit$h's go through the chain of command, not the media....I have a feeling this L/Cpl may be a Pvt real soon.

I don't understand the need for psychiatric care for our brave men engaged in protecting the scum of the earth.
I believe these good men need royal treatment, food, hot water, comfortable beds, good entertainment for what they have put up with looking after these spawn of Lucifer.
I'm thinking George W. Bush should invite our courageous soldiers guarding these demons to a fine White House Texas Ranch Style Feast and a night of sterling entertainment with their spouses, and/or close friend. And how about a special tribute given to the parents of these excellent dedicated soldiers?
A solid round of applause and ^5's in gratitude to all of our soldiers men service to our country so that we will remain free.
Also, in closing, George W. Bush should call for a day of recognition and salute in honor of these valient young soldiers all across the land of the free and the home of the brave.
Tell the psycho docs they can go home.

Our servicemen aren't the only ones pissed at the "coddling" of the terrorists. MOST Americans would absolutely OUTRAGED, but since most of the Liberal media refuses to point out this absurdity, most are ignorant.
These simple questions remain unanswered: WHO is responsible for the policy of coddling the mutants instead of treating them like the putrid scum they are. Since when has the United States of America been commanded to answer to the Red Cross, Amnesty Int'l, and the other Leftist "humanitarian" groups??
