Here's the other Canteen Hostess, Billie. She's the ornery one, you can tell by the way she moves, you don't wanna cross her. (Watch those graphics - not too big, please!)
Thought you might like to see some of the ladies responsible for keeping the Canteen kitchen full of surprises. That's Mountaineer on the left, then Iowa Granny, and uh....who is that on the right....oh, that's who on the right.

The only thing wrong with that visit was that it was WAYYY tooo short!!
I want to thank everyone for your prayers for my daughter.
When I got there she was having to use her walker to get around; before I left she was back to her cane and, sometimes, even walking without her cane!
God was bombarded with prayers from everyone here, and He answered our prayers.

So glad to hear Faith is doing better! That is wonderful news!
I've heard her voice (on CD) and read her words and have felt near overwhelmed with her kindness and caring...what a treat it would be to have some time with her.

Glad to hear your daughter's on the mend. Continued blessings to her.
Now, what I really want to ask you about is the Ronald Reagan Library! Did you get to see it? I haven't been there for a couple years, but I loved it! I especially liked seeing part of "The Berlin Wall". I loved all of the exhibits, and I understand that there are many more now. One day I would like to see the Nixon Library as well. I don't know why I haven't done that yet!
I know the power of prayer and I can understand how much they helped Faith, but I bet seeing "DAD" had it's own positive effect! I am so glad you had the opportunity to visit with her! Glad to see you back, too! :)
