SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - New HIV infections are on the rise in the San Francisco Bay area, in part, because a small proportion of gay men who are having unprotected sex, a new study shows.
The study said despite years promoting condom use to prevent HIV infection, some gay men are actively seeking out partners who will have unprotected sex with them.

Anyone contracting this disease from the steriotypical method (as described in the article) or by the use of IV drugs, etc. - I have zero sympathy for -as at this point, anyone who gets the disease through these means knew what the risks were and CHOSE to take the risk -you want to play that game, you pay your price.
If you were to draw a circle on a chalkboard about 6 inches in diameter that would describe the openings in a latex condom. Now take that piece of chalk and make a dot. That is the size of an aids virus. If you were to draw a sperm it is much larger than the 6-inch circle. Condoms were created to protect against pregnancy not AIDS, or any other sexual transmitted disease.
