Barbara Walters has gotten countless Oscar winners to reveal their feelings, but her most intimate interview came when she nearly fell into bed with Cuban dictator Fidel Castro!

During a 1977 assignment in Cuba. Walters went boating with the bearded bad boy and was lulled into a romantic mood by sunny skies and the balmy Caribbean breezes.

Walters admits she was deeply attracted to fiery Fidel but she kept her passions in check because she was determined to be a consumate professional.

'As Jimmy Carter would say, lust in your heart is not the same as doing it,' Walters 70, confided on The View. I was working. I do keep things seperate.'

But the veteran journalist hasn't always managed to keep buisness and pleasure apart.

She said she once dated a homicide cop after doing a report on crime fighters, Eventually they broke up.

Most serious comment I can make is how unprofessional it is to reveal that you got horny on an assignment. It was also unprofessional to "date" the subject of a report. I have also heard she made it on her back. Overall, morning tv has become a get rich scheme for countless no talents. They tried to get rid of Jane Paulie for years, and Kouric is truly a repulsive little gnome.
