Yes, Tucker Carlson is a beltway dork and an embarassment to our party.
To: JohnPaulJones
Haven't seen it in 6 mos. Since I got Fox News.

Didn't even realize CROSSFIRE was still in existence. I liked it when Pat Buchanan was going up against that pencil-neck geek guy, whose name I can no longer remember. That was back when CNN was the only show in town (so far as 24 hour news).

Bust.
CNN is trying to turn us all into proctologists but, I ain't buyin'...no way do I wanna spend so much time looking at assholes.

I think the new Crossfire is a total mess! You don't know who's saying what. They should have practiced a lot more before coming on air. Bob Novak seems SO ticked off by Carville's antics.

15 seconds of Carville filled up my quota for this year.

Yep, Tucker Carlson is lackluster at best and the other rabid mongoose is well... you know. The show has tanked!
To: JohnPaulJones
I saw Ted Turner in the owner's box next to the dugout at the Braves opener today. I was directly behind him, but in the club level. That's as close as I get to CNN.

I watched a couple of minutes and concluded that Novak was in Atlanta for good reason. If he and Carville were across the table from one another they'd rip one anothers tongue out by the roots! Begala and Carville have got to be two of the most hateful guys on the planet. I won't be tuning in again anytime soon.

This new format is an unmitigated DISASTER!!!
Only the clueless nitwits at CNN would think that they can build Crossfire's audience by featuring Carville and Begala in a show that now resembles something closer to the Jerry Springer Show than a serious political debate show.
Not even MSNBC would put something this inane on the air!!! I bet the suits at FOX are LOL at this ridiculous effort.
I say Crossfire will go back to something resembling the old format within 6 months or just go off the air.
Old Crossfire, R.I.P.

Novak and Carlson really did come across as mad and petty. This could be an interesting thing to watch as it unfolds.
Like it or not, this may turn out to be something the right must deal with. Ignoring it will not make it go away.

Crossfire has always been a bust. People are only allowed to speak is fractional sentences. People shouting over one another is offered as reasoned discussion.
It reduces any issue to the intellectual level of a food fight.
To: JohnPaulJones
I remember watching Crossfire and Buckley on a 12" round TV screen as a kid. The good ole days!!!

Hannity, on his radio show, said that Bill Press will be a guest on Hannity and Dipstick. I think I heard Sean mention that Bill is out of work. Could be breaking news...
To: JohnPaulJones
Personally, I can't stand listening to Carville or Begala more than 5 minutes at a time.
To: JohnPaulJones
CNN???? What is CNN???? (/sarcasm)
To: JohnPaulJones
Tried to watch. It really sucked. Carville and Begala are not from this planet, that's for sure.
To: JohnPaulJones
A show with Carville and Begala doesn't even rise to the level of a complete waste of time.
To: JohnPaulJones
Is Bill Press with FOX now?
