So it's great to execute prisoners of war? I wonder what Neil Roberts' parents think about that. He's the Navy Seal who fell out of the helicopter. Tomorrow is Easter Sunday. Think about we are doing and saying in the name of religion.

Not a good move if true.

Well, when you live daily with suicide bombers blowing up your family members as they buy groceries or eat a dinner, just remember your statement and YOU think about how you protect yourself.

How come there are no complaints when Arafat's suicide bombers blow up people. What about how Arafat acts? What about all the terrorists lined up to kill babies? Do they think about how they act?

I suggest you look at who is attacking innocents here. The Israeli's were trying for peace, they have had Arafat surrounded for a long time. Yet, Arafat is still alive. His guards were armed and were attempting to kill the Israelis who are merely trying to stop the terrorist killing. All Arafat has had to do was call off the bombings - he - ARAFAT - refused. Arafat is to blame for that mess and no other person.

You're a wise lady. One can understand the near breaking point of the Israeli soldiers, who have seen so many of their non-combatants murdered by suicide bombers, who they can't seem to detect and who can and do strike at will.

But war especially must be prosecuted in fear of the Lord. And even though I can empathize with the Israeli soldiers; this particular style of disposing of one's enemies screams nazi style.

A quote is attributed to Golda Meir that goes something like this: we do not hate you for killing our children; we hate you for forcing us to kill yours. And to me what that meant was that she hated Israel being forced to carry out the outrages similar to those perpetrated (sp?) on Jewish people during WWII and before.

Just last week I heard someone on this forum compare Yasser Arafat to George Washington. Now Force 17 terrorists are being compared to American soldiers...

You have only the word of a pro-palestinian leftist rag that anyone was 'executed.'

This is the same numbnut paper that was claiming the prisoners at Gitmo were being tortured because they were wearing earmuffs.

Ever seen a room-to-room batle against guys who were still alive and kicking, but not surrendering?

The rag makes it clear they didn't surrender and goes to great lengths to claim Arafat is not a prisoner, so do you think these peckerheads were waving a white flag of surrender?

Here's another one for you: do you know anything about the Geneva Convention definition of a prisoner of war?

If you did, you would know that these people do NOT fit it the lawful combatant requirement because they do advocate the use of suicide bombing, forbidden as it is in the rules of war. They sure as heck don't fit in as noncombatants. Hiding asmong civilians - in with the British counsel no less... is not the act of soldiers in a properly organized armed force, but an act typical of terrorists.

How dare you compare these SOBs to a SEAL. The SEAL was wearing a uniform, the uniform of a nation which does NOT advocate suicide bombing and which does NOT hide its armies among civilians or dress its 'heroes' up in women's clothes and wigs to blow up pizza parlors and bat mitzvahs and to deliberately target people in grocery stores. The SEAL was part of a force which does NOT threaten to assasinate reporters and cameramen for filming street celebrations. The SEAL was part of a force which does NOT threaten to exterminate entire populations as do the scumbags clinging to Arafat's employ.

uhm, it's called a "headshot" in the sniper community.

The walking wounded who choose to carry a weapon are fair game, and if I have a 50cal weapon with a night scope and ballistic computer - I'll hit the temple of an enemy soldier from 600 yards and he'll never hear the bullet as his brain splats against the wall, and he will fall face forward - as drop his weapon on the ground where he'll die.

That's my job as a sniper - put the enemy down, quickly, methodically, and without mercy.

That's war. Get used to it. There's more to come.

"So it's great to execute prisoners of war?"...........Nobody said that. BUT: 1)we don't know that any of this is true. Who's been inside to report this accurately? 2) Even if it is true, these men are terrorists, and I'd rather see them all dead than see one more of them shoot another Israeli baby. 3) I don't recall the Palestinian Authority signing on to the Geneva Protocols- they sure as hell don't care about the spirit or the letter of such "rules of war". To Allah with them.

The only people who are saying that the troops of Force 17 were 'executed' are people who weren't there.

And the only people who think that enemy wounded are always taken prisoner all nicey-nice as the Geneva Conventions demand have never been in combat.

Think about we are doing and saying in the name of religion

Some view it that way. But this is not being done in the name of religion. That is secondary. True, most Palestinians are Muslim, but some aren't, and most [80%] Israelis are Jewish. They all are doing this in the name of nationalism, and they are doing this to try to destroy Israel or to preserve it. The country, not the religion. Excepting zealots on both sides, but that isn't everyone.

There are no rules in this war, started by the Pan-Islam movement leaders. Israel's crime is that it exists. Jews are hated for being; America is perceived as inseparable from Israel. We are both targetted, our innocents and economies. The islamists want to kill and maim simply to cause fear. Civilized humans are noe forced to exterminate these terrorists before they murder more innocents. There are no rules, only Faith.
