How do I get the sidebars back!?!?!?!? THIS STINKS!

BOOOOO!
FR was the very first page that I loaded when I got online all because of the great sidebars that had all of the days news in a very easy to read format and was updated more than at Drudge....now, unless I get those sidebars back then I'll have to just stick back with Drudge.
How do we get to see the sidebars again...also, the page now loads way too slow, whats up with that?

I THINK I LIKE IT...NO I DON'T..

New sidebar routine is not an improvement. And left column on news/analyis page takes up way too much space, forcing viewer into unnecessary scrolling.

The Topics are gettable, but the process is _way_ too cumbersome. Listing them all on one page, with checkboxes, would be much better.
I find the new heading font is hard to read. I say Take away the bold and make it larger, like before.
But the overall graphic design is nice.

It's always a mistake to let the art department design your website; you end up with lots of graphics and not much functionality. There are a few features of the new FR I like, like the local times, but basically I'm afraid you've put in a lot of effort to make the system worse.
We really need the old FR back.

It's embarassing to think this many dum basses participate on the forum.I hope you weren't refering to me.
I, and many others, have had no problem deciphering the nuances of the new forum format.
It's not that we can't figure it out; we just don't like this new pastel monstrosity.

I think you need to post a banner on this, it seems that everyone is confused about the sidebar. BIG BOLD RED LETTERS might do. :o)

Just some advice, although Im sure your getting "tons" of it right now.
Maybe post those instructions on the front page? I didnt see them and of course when I post a message looking for some help I get slammed by idiots like Doughtyone.
Just my opinion

For now, I guess 5 is the limit. If there is an option to increase that feature, I haven't found it.

I fully support your ability to complain about the new format. Does it take a new thread for each of you to do it? Honesly folks, show some respect to your host. Find one of the other thirty threads and add your comments.

And how do you get rid of those incredibly annoying announcements?
To: mortsahl
No mission statement, no declaration of values, no participents.
A pale imitation of life.

Thanks for the help on the side-bars... can't live without them.
And can I get more than 5 stories in the Breaking News and Front Page News sections?
Also, how do I get rid of the "Michigan news and comments" at the top of my pages?

It's embarassing to think this many dum basses participate on the forum. Careful, or you will be accused of being an antifishite.

Have you tried reading the instructions?

And how do you get rid of those incredibly annoying announcements?I found that!
A long time ago, I setup my preferences to include "My Location" (I think that's what it was...). So I clicked on my flag in the new format, and changed my location to 'Nothing'.
The announcements section (which took up 25% of the screen) is now gone. I didn't use it any way.
I really want more than 5 side bar titles, and I do NOT want them changing around based on poster replies! Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!
To: stuck_in_new_orleans
I simply created links on my browser's toolbar to all the
forums I wish to view, and the only forums I "subscribe" to and have shown on the FR sidebar are News/Current Events and Breaking News.........
It works rather well............
