Who cares? A whole lot of Cuban exiles in Miami, who changed their voter registration from Democrat to Republican right after the raid. Those several hundred votes could very well have decided the results of the 2000 election. When they refused to negotiate or meet with the father, the govt. was bound to take matters into thier own hands.
