And as for your stupid conspiracy, everyone connected to defense and national security has admitted they never planned for such a scenario. It's entirely possible there was confusion at higher levels. Before 9/11 military fighters weren't scrambled against civilian passenger aircraft. Oh, and did I say, UP YOURS?
I was not demeaning the great armed forces and the men and women in uniform protecting this country. I have been and continue to be grateful to them for their sacrifices.
My beef is with the "leaders" who for some reason ordered them to stand down on 9/11, and allowed events to take place.
This is a similar pattern to what happened at Pearl Harbor, where fDR sacrificed those lives to get us into WWII; Vietnam, where political considerations triumphed over concern for our military lives'; and The First World Trade Center attack, which was allowed to go forward and even facilitated by the FBI!!!
I care about the country and the common folk, and I despise the evil ones in power who selfishly use them for their own gain!!!
