Don't take offense to those, I love it when the Country Club Republicans are shown for what they are,,,,,,Cult of Personality drones willing to follow anything to win.
The persistent conjurring of grand strategery and chest matches is fun to watch........btw, the suit gave another great speech today

"Boyam I thankful it's Bush and not Gore" crowd...which even Rosie belongs to.... Ken,read over what you wrote and then think about it,ok? "Even Rosie.....". What does THAT tell you? Do you think Rosie suddenly became a conservative,or even a "moderate" Republican? Or do you think maybe Bubba-2 has done a lot of stuff that pleases the left? Which do you think is most likely?

This is a joke, no?

There is a difference between class warfare and the Country Club Republican, it has nothing to do with class, it has to do with principle vs. Let's win...........and yes I did love Huey Lewis and the News

Dear Maroon: There is no such power granted ANYWHERE in the Constitution, PERIOD. Said power was SIEZED by the SUPREMES in 1803. It was NOT GRANTED to them. The Constitutionality of legislation was supposed to be checked by all involved, OR the PEOPLE, in the last resort. (Jury nullification and all that, as was done during Prohibition) The Chief Executive takes an oath to protect and defend the Constitution.
Do you suppose it's asking too much for him to KNOW WHAT IT SAYS AND MEANS??????????????Signed,
Patient

So why'd he sign it? Because Enron made Bush and Republicans vulnerable to the charge that he would veto CFR to keep the soft money millions flowing from the oil patch. CFR does not resonate with ordinary voters but Enron does.
Perhaps. But Mr. Bush had political capital bulging even more heavily than Enron's former coffers. He had (has?) the kind of approval ratings Ronald Reagan himself could never have imagined. He could well enough have vetoed CFR (as he should have done, without question, and on very solid Constitutional ground, as I think we both know) and taken his case to the American people, and remind them that, oh, by the way when Enron came schnorring around our administration looking for some favours as soon as the proverbial sh@t hit the proverbial fan, our administration told Enron in no uncertain terms to take a proverbial hike - and anyone who says otherwise is either an ignoramus or an @$$.

The gentleman refers, I believe, to Marbury v. Madison...

Q: How many Bush Presidents does it take to re-direct a nation based upon liberty, freedom amd self-responsibility?
A: Two. The Daddy lied to America and the people voted his A$$ out. And his Son lied to America and the people will vote his A$$ out.
To: clintonh8r
Uh, Homeland Security is not a Cabinet position. I stand corrected. For the time being, anyway. I have no doubt it will become a Cabinet position, though. It IS another bureaucracy though, and we all know they never go away. They just get bigger.

This is a joke, no? No. She has stated several times on tv that "Although I was a Gore supporter and am a life-long Dim-0-crat,I'm glad Bush is our president now."
To: rbmillerjr
Of course you don't. You only see personal insults when they are leveled at you or others like you. Insulting supporters of the current administration is fair game for you and others.
I guess you missed stuff like this: "let them bask in their Republican utopia in ignorant bliss..."
Of course, had I called YOU ignorant, you'd consider it a personal insult, when Bush supporters are called ignorant, you see it as a call for debate.
Here's another little tidbit that's not real conducive to the "author's" call for debate": "...blatant display of sheer ignorance on the part of some FReepers..."
If the author wishes to know WHY he seems to have some difficulty "debating" issues with others, he may want to tone down on the arrogance a bit.

Shows you how often I watch The Rosie O'Donnell Show. What's tomorrow's headline, then - hell freezes over? ;)
