President Bush signed the controversial Campaign Finance Reform bill today as Mitch McConnell immediately filed suit against it. Bush later headed to South Carolina where he spoke to Emergency First Responders in Greenville. He also stopped in Atlanta, Georgia at the Georgia Tech Institute of Technology where he watched drills demostrating response to terror attacks. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Well to be fair, there have definitely been posters I have appreciated. I was exaggerating I guess. However, there are surely a lot of people who operate just like that.

I guess what I'm learning is that life isn't what I thought it was a kid growing up. There are just as many irrational, illogical, hateful people in my own party as there are in the other one. People who cannot debate without attacking me like has happened on this forum are no better to me than your average liberal, just their views are different.

I am defintely not going to leave a thread after a group of people insult me, call me a liar, call me names, dismiss the substance of my post, and act in such an immature rude arrogant manner.

I have seen countless picture threads with commentary in them. Im not going to shut up just because I speak the truth and many people are not man/woman enough to deal with it. If noone at all comments in a certain type of thread, that's fine. But thats not the custom with those threads, and Im especially not going to politely walk away when a bunch of rude people attack me for the substance of my message.

You know, when you make a picture thread, with ONE picture, and 5 paragraphs about the CFR, how can you sit there with a straight face and say you're surprised when people make comments about the CFR signing? HELLO?!?! HELLO! This wasn't a picture thread, it was basically a thread about the president's comments on CFR. I GUARANTEE if my comments had been positive, noone would have said a word.

Here's a suggestion. If you want to make a pic thread that noone responds to (which is obviously NOT the intent, you just dont want negative/critical responses), then I suggest you put pictures in it and tell what the pictures are. You didn't even describe the first picture, we had no clue what it was.

The concept that you fail to grasp is "inappropriate". There is a time and place for everything, this is not it. Dozens of people have tried to explain this but you are too dense to understand. Your arguments are fine, they fit on FreeRepublic, but not on THIS thread. You have purposely chosen not to understand this concept. For that reason, you are a jerk. That is why people have been rude to you. You have no sense of decorum, taste, or responsibility.

I just got back from MAIL BOXES, ETC. They said since I sent it via US Mail that they cannot track it and there are no guarantees as to when it will arrive. I said, "well, why did I paid for first class postage, then?" He said, "Good question." Errr.

I just sent the Laura book to ohioWfan but I sent it via FedEX this time so I can at least track it. They said it should be there by Wednesday, April 3rd. So, if it takes almost a week by FedEx then it will probably take longer for your book. Of course, this book is going to Ohio which is considerably further than California. This irks me to no end. The US Post Office should be privatized.

DeSoto, here is what you are failing to grasp. I was not the only one who made commentary about the main part of this post (President Bush's comments). Likewise, there was ONE picture originally posted. I do not understand at all how it was inappropriate. That said, the reason I did not and have not stopped was not because I dont want to post elsewhere, it was because of the many many rude and insulting/attacking replies posted.

I'm not going to just walk away such treatment.

Now will you pretty please take your arguments to a more appropriate thread? This one has been ongoing since 1/20/01 as a photo thread (please notice the title). rintense has no control over how many pictures the wire services release on a single day. Sometimes there are quite a few and other days there are hardly any. Coincidentally there were few yesterday, thus the dearth of them to start the thread.

What you are failing to grasp is that this thread is a daily event. It has been going on for well over a year. It is mostly for Bush lovers who want to leave the heavy debate of hard issues and find respite with similar minded people. It is kinda like a party that wants to have fun without discussing politics, religion, or other devisive subjects. You are free to discuss those subjects elsewhere, but the participants on these threads have set the tone, and made the rules.

Just like crashing a party and making a fool of yourself will get you thrown out on your ear, trying to bash Bush on this thread will get the same treatment. Why is that so difficult for you to understand?

I've checked out his profile.....interesting how he's not THAT interested in the cfr subject, other than this thread. He HAS commented, a little bit, but seems to be VERY hung up on the Dose....hhhhhmmmmm......I think we have another short man syndrome going on. Needs attention. His intentions are not to discuss CFR, if so he would be with others on another thread willing to debate the merits (or lack thereof) his arguments.
