President Bush signed the controversial Campaign Finance Reform bill today as Mitch McConnell immediately filed suit against it. Bush later headed to South Carolina where he spoke to Emergency First Responders in Greenville. He also stopped in Atlanta, Georgia at the Georgia Tech Institute of Technology where he watched drills demostrating response to terror attacks. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

An especially ignorant and childish attack. But, sorry to say, a very common one on this website.
Back when I was registered as Bot-a-Bing in 1999/2000, and I posted about the Gore/Bush election, I was the first person to post a warning about the manual recounts being requested by Gore, and the probable impact that a manual recount in selected counties would result in a gore victory by a small margin. I encouraged whoever was reading threads and had access to the Bush team to address that problem, and possibly to request similar recounts in heavily republican districts, etc etc. The response from the Freeper forums? Nothing but personal attacks against me, calling me a liar, and other unsundry names. And of course...pointing out my the fact that I was freshly registered.
Ignorance is bliss I guess.

W's
sending the pen with a note to McCain?
TOO FUNNY! Poor wittle johnny. Didn't get his chance in front of the cameras. Oh well, maybe when the SCOTUS rules.

What can I do to help? Ignore them. Post some pictures. Enjoy the Dose.

Yeah I strongly object. A day in the life of President Bush isn't complete without mentioning the fact that he just signed a bill into law that shuts down free speech...
Blah, blah, blah. Can't you read? RWP mentioned in the VERY FORST sentence of this thread what you wanted. There were no pictures of today's event, therefore you do not see any posted here.

Where is that "ignore poster" button? We need it with some of these posts.

Apparently so. Either they don't care about it, or let me guess, everyone here who has so harshly bashed the anti-CFR people is actually out on anti-CFR threads professing their dissapointment with president bush?
I choose option 2. That being that this forum is heavily populated with head-in-the-sand sheeple who are terrified at the prospect of thinking for themselves.

You know, I am thinking perhaps M. Thatcher is right, and I allowed my anger at Rush to color my reasoning. I do NOT think it impossible, however, for the seminar callers to be given talking points which also show up here.
I still don't like Rush's attitude these last few days, but it is his show. I have been listening to Fox more because I get enough griping here, don't need to hear it on the radio.

Just ignore them. They are like little peksy kids, if you ignore them they go away. Thanks for all the great pictures. Wish I could have been down at Tech to see him.

I fell in the floor laughing when I heard Bush just signed it and left town, denying McCain his moment in the spotlight.

Sadly, it's Rush leading the charge. You're right. I am very dissappointed in Rush. I told him so via the email and yesterday I canceled my 24/7 membership and the Limbaugh Letter subscription. Now, instead of Rush, I listen to music. It's refreshing.
