President Bush signed the controversial Campaign Finance Reform bill today as Mitch McConnell immediately filed suit against it. Bush later headed to South Carolina where he spoke to Emergency First Responders in Greenville. He also stopped in Atlanta, Georgia at the Georgia Tech Institute of Technology where he watched drills demostrating response to terror attacks. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Well, excuse me if I am wrong, and I will freely admit it, but either he is getting information from here, or a whole lot of people are lurking here and calling his show.

Sorry if I offended, but you must admit things seem to fall in a pattern, and whether Rush monitors here or not, and I am taking your word for it that he does not, I do know that a lot of media DO lurk here and judge conservative opinion from this board.

Don't you think this is rather odd, this sudden group of new people who are ALL so incensed with CFR? Especially since this wasn't even on the public's radar screen, but when Bush gets ready to sign it, BINGO, they are all here incensed about what was formerly a non-issue?

What is your explanation?

What no picture of the CFR signing, passing out of pens, Senators and Congressman with smiles. Oh well, I guess when you betray those who voted for you, you don't celebrate.

I heard on Fox that he signed it in private (maybe some presidential staffers there) as he was walking out of the White House. Hahahaha to McCain, Feingold, Shays and Meehan!

This thread is a place to view pictures that were taken to keep us up to date with what is going on in President Bush's life.

Yes, we view pictures of the President which keep us up to date on what's going on in President Bush's life. Today was a biggie, the President signed the CFR bill, this issue is on my mind today. Jurisdog has every right to express his/hers opinion. Freedom of Speech, we should all care about it.

Bush to McCain: I beg your pardon, I never promised you The Rose Garden.

Cheney and Condi Rice witnessed the signature, and a staffer called McCain, saying the President would be sending him a note with the pen that was used.

You are on the money! The average person cares less about this as an important issue. I really think that they see this more as a political issue that Demos and Rinos have pushed through, ignoring issues that Americans are concerned about.

Putting politics first instead of America is showing the liberals for what they really are, and I hope this bodes well for 2002 and 2004 elections.

By the way, maybe the fact that I'm an attorney (fairly recent grad) and the fact that I'm about as dedicated to the Constitution and interpretation under the doctrine of original intent as I can be, makes me especially sensitive to this issue. I dunno.

when you really want to stick it to McCain, you sign the bill on the way to SOUTH CAROLINA and then have a staffer call McCain's aide and tell him you signed it.

Way to go W!!!!!!!

Thanks rintense, the pictures are great. You're the best!
