Exactly. Many of the US seminaries, with the apparent blessing of American bishops, have become something akin to Club Meds for promiscuously practicing homosexuals. Celibate heterosexually-oriented men and even chaste homosexuals who take seriously their priestly vows need not apply. Nor is anyone welcome who has the slightest allegiance to fundamental tenets of the RC faith or who respects the central idea papal authority. This really isn't a scandal of sexuality so much(there are good, faithful, gay-oriented priests in the church who can & do keep their pants on with their teenaged parishoners) as it is a crisis of dishonesty among fraudulent "priests". Over the last three decades, the US RC church has been ordaining wave after massive wave of gay men who have not, and never did have, any intention honoring their vows to live chaste lives as priests. And like most dishonest people, their lack of honor carries over into most other aspects of their ministry beyond their sexual activity. As rank of file catholics across the US can attest, many of these Club Med priests are about as "Roman Catholic" in their theological beliefs as Jimmy Swaggart is.(Actually, a lot less so.) Transubstantiation? Just a silly anachronism from a repressed patriarchy. This invasion of non-catholic 'catholic' priests could only have happened with the full complicity of The US Council of Catholic Bishops. I say throw the lot of these bogus priests and the Bishops who've served as their protectors (and procurers!) in jail & give us our church back. We're sick of seeing our collection plates being used to financially underwrite the decadent lifestyles of practicing pederasts (nearly all of whom are ephebophiles as opposed to pedophiles, it must be emhasized) who also happen to be practicing protestants.

Wow! What a post!! Right on the money.
It's about time conservative Catholics rose up in justifiable anger. Let's pick up the bullwhips and drive the hedonistic lavender clergy out of the sanctuary.
