Chelsea's Tongue

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! I just saw a copy of the latest Globe magazine on the supermarket checkout line and Chelsea Clinton is featured tongue kissing with her boyfriend on the cover. This pic (below) has already been posted here but it doesn't do justice to the actual hardcopy cover photo since her tongue is clearly seen on the actual cover. The ironic thing is that millions of folks who are buying food at the supermarket checkout lines will lose their appetites when they see Chelsea's tongue leaping out at them from the newpaper racks.
BTW, how are folks going to explain that tongue kiss to their kids if they are asked about it while waiting on the checkout line? I mean that photo sure does leap out at you.

So what? A college student is swapping spit with her boyfriend. Anybody here want to plead guilty to never having participated in said activity?
I think the only reason anyone is paying any attention or getting sick over it is the continued obsession of the right over Bill Clinton and the Clinton family.
People, are we ever going to reach the point where we forget about this family and relegate them to the irrelevance they so richly deserve, and move forward?
Bill Clinton beat us like a drum and played us like a marionette on a string for eight years, and despite the fondest dreams of many here (including, when you get down to it, myself) will never wear the orange jumpsuit he so richly deserves. It will not happen. Period. End of discussion. Clinton is history and every time he gets under our skin, we give him relevance he does not merit. A hundred years down the road, the only thing that will keep him from being remembered along the lines of Millard Fillmore and Chester A. Arthur will be his impeachment.
Hillary Clinton has been a bust as a senator and if she ever wrangles the Dem nomination for president I'm willing to bet my next year's paycheck that she will get drilled, the only thing keeping her from a defeat of Mondale/McGovern proportions being N.Y. and California skewing the results a little.
I've seen posts here quaking in fear about the possibility of Chelsea Clinton getting into politics. Snap out of it people. The American people had an eight-year love affair with Bill Clinton. That does not necessarily mean that affection will transfer to the daughter and the wife. Slick was one of a kind, one of the five best American politicians of the 20th century (the others, IMHO, being FDR, Nixon, Wallace and Reagan). I don't see Hillary or Chelsea with such qualities.
Personally, I could care less about Clinton and never think of the guy until I see people ranting about something he's done or said here. Earth to FR ... HE'S NOT PRESIDENT ANYMORE AND CAN'T RUN AGAIN! He's irrelevant. And IMHO, his family is irrelevant, because there is no way ... NO WAY ... Hillary Clinton can ever be elected president of the U.S.
Let's forget about this bunch and move on.

Public affection is generally not appropriate. I daresay it's the same in Germany. Who knows how private these two thought they were being, however. They probably thought they were in a relatively private moment.
Yes, American spring breakers you see on TV are nuts and out of control. They are decadent, stupid, etc., etc. Rest assured that there are many, many more university-aged kids sitting around their mom and dad's house. Sitting on the couch isn't nearly as interesting on TV, however.

NO WAY ... Hillary Clinton can ever be elected president of the U.S. Probably not but I am sure the Demmycrats will nominate her. I can already see her campaign slogan: "IT'S TIME FOR A WOMAN!" And I am almost certain that the first celeb to call on Hillary to run will be that airhead, Julia Roberts.

Let her get married and lead a normal life. As long as she stays the hell out of politics. Two hijacked planes bring down the World Trade Center killing thousands of innocents.
"I immediately worried that the Bush tax cut would prevent repairing the damage."
Breaking news: Chelsea the soulless hack is not about to "stay the hell out of politics."

Excuse me, but my idea of " devoted love " is not some freak's tongue doing sixty inside of my mouth. Anybody can do that and call it " kissing "! The best kissing is done without tongue, IMO ... but then again, I'm not " from this century " ......

Harp you are right too! I have such a daughter at home, she will never get attention from TV. She is a student at the Atlanta International School (68 different Nations) Spring break was already 3 weeks ago and we went together on a short vacation trip. She is 17 years old, has a boyfriend in Seattle since 1 1/2 year, they both are able to keep their relationship between Seattle and Atlanta alive, because we help them with tickets and a lot of understanding!!! If he comes to our home, he is treated very welcome with understanding, that both of them need privacy, that's the German way, of cource I understand the obsticles, American parents have, but that's our way! It works. She is our youngest! Sister is 29 and brother is 26 years old, from their upbringing I take my experiance, but boy, how different it is, to raise a child (our youngest) here, ore like my older ones overthere, what a difference!!

I should better ask you the question coming in an personal mail, but I think, it's for all! Help me to understand: Is a French kiss realy as bad as a naked brest? This question is serious, because it is touching a cultural thing. In "my world" it's very natural, but here in the states it's called pornographie(even the spelling I don't get right:-( ), give me some advice, please!

Gross and disgusting? Settle down boys and girls and take another look. Seldom has Chelsea looked more mod: in profile, hair pulled back and skin aglow, eye shadow defining simplicite, sunglasses stylishly aloft, and there, her hand gripping his shoulder with just a hint of passion. With all this, a little bit of tongue hardly matters. Simply tell your children the truth. A young, first love is beautiful and to be celebrated. Perhaps you've never known such simple joy. Chelsea, through all her parent's toil and trouble, always conducted herself with class. Show her some in return.
