Some more recent articles on their site praise the passage of 245(i) in the House with Bush support, but urgently seek support to have it passed in the Senate (where it was eventually delayed). This pro-illegal alien amnesty legal group (along with Pres. Bush) supports special privileges and benefits for outright federal INS/Customs Service lawbreakers, slapping the faces of millions of legal immigrants who stood in line, went through the correct procedures, paperwork and fees (and long waiting) and adhered to federal law out of respect for our Republic and it's established sovereign, domestic laws.

their cheap labor

That is the key.
How many of these illegals are being paid even less than minimum wage, no employment benefits, etc. They won't complain because of fear/threat of being deported.

The administration argues that the nation needs foreign workers to farm and garden and to do the menial hotel, restaurant and hospital jobs that many American workers disdain.

There are Americans doing these jobs. Pay is the key. You pay a decent wage, and you can find someone to do the job. Ask any plumber--I'm sure they don't really rejoice as having to clear out a stopped up toilet, but for $50+ an hour they even list their services in the yellow pages.

In my newspaper yesterday, the article read that Bush said that we must give special privileges to Mexicans due to our special relationship. If I still believed that this nation had a chance to avoid war or final slide into obscurity, I might get upset over this stuff. But I believe the writing is on the wall, and most Americans do not really deserve their freedoms that they are about to lose.

Observations, Freepers?

Here's one:

Despite the evidence from all over the political spectrum, obsessive Bush Apologists and Amnesty Deniers will be no more likely to admit the truth today than they were yesterday.

Stepping into the light doesn't appear to be a viable option for them.

Still, it's worth the effort, if only to expose the Deniers' lack of a coherent position to those genuinely on the fence. Nice post.

Yeah I have an observation. Bush is selling the western states, and even the south down the river. I voted for him in 2000, now every time I look in the mirror, I see a large cherry sucker.

Libertarian Party Platform

Libertarian Party Platform - IMMIGRATION Libertarian Party Platform

IMMIGRATION

We hold that human rights should not be denied or abridged on the basis of nationality. We condemn massive roundups of Hispanic Americans and others by the federal government in its hunt for individuals not possessing required government documents. We strongly oppose all measures that punish employers who hire undocumented workers. Such measures repress free enterprise, harass workers, and systematically discourage employers from hiring Hispanics.

We welcome all refugees to our country and condemn the efforts of U.S. officials to create a new "Berlin Wall" which would keep them captive. We condemn the U.S. government's policy of barring those refugees from our country and preventing Americans from assisting their passage to help them escape tyranny or improve their economic prospects.

Undocumented non-citizens should not be denied the fundamental freedom to labor and to move about unmolested. Furthermore, immigration must not be restricted for reasons of race, religion, political creed, age, or sexual preference.

We therefore call for the elimination of all restrictions on immigration, the abolition of the Immigration and Naturalization Service and the Border Patrol, and a declaration of full amnesty for all people who have entered the country illegally. We oppose government welfare and resettlement payments to non-citizens just as we oppose government welfare payments to all other persons.

When was the last time "our" federal government gave native-born Americans "amnesty" on tax liens?

"Our" government treats us like shit. When we are innocently caught up in IRS snafus - like my elderly native-born American mother was - it threatens us with criminal prosecution for "back taxes" it later admitted she never owed.

No wonder Jorge Bush is almost as widely disrespected among social conservatives as among liberals.

Slapping the face of 280 million Americans who have no voice in this issue, nor have they been consulted by their "elected" officials as to how they feel about allowing millions of law breakers into their country.

Congress is hearing from the public, and our president is urging Congress to hurry and pass 245i though the public is outraged.

What is the real reason for passage of 245i when the public is clearly against it? Why would our elected officials run against the will of the people on an issue like this?

With the passage of 245i, and if Bush gets all that he wants, he promises the free flow of goods and serivces, and people. Do we really want the free flow of people over our borders?

observations?

Here are some..

INS Approves Muslim Terrorist Visas

Last week, the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) mailed out approved visas for the Saudi terrorist hijackers who slaughtered thousands of Americans at the World Trade Center.

Apparently, the INS had not heard that the Saudi mass murderers were no longer alive.

Muslim terrorist Mohammed Atta three hours before the September 11th horror

The visas were approved six months after the Arab hijackers carried out the worst terrorist attack in American history.

Among those approved for visas was Mohammed Atta, the ringleader of the Muslim butchers.

INS to Muslim terrorists: "Welcome to America!"
(Mohammed Atta (right) and fellow September 11th terror pilot)

They were the most notorious illegal aliens in U.S. history, the name of one terrorist was instantly recognizable and both were Arabs applying for permission to take flying lessons. Yet no red flags were raised at the INS or its private contractors when it notified the Huffman School of Aviation in Venice, Florida on March 11, 2002 -- exactly six months to the day after the horrific September 11th butchery -- that the visas of Mohammed Atta and Marwan Al-Shechi had been inspected and upgraded from "tourist" to "student."

President Bush tells us that since September 11th, we are much safer as a nation because the Federal Government has taken special measures to protect our borders.

Yeah, sure.

"Preserve and expand public health...."
(Translation: "We want red-white-and-blue welfare!")

In March 1996, Hispanic adults and children marched to protest California's Proposition 187, a voter mandate intended to end free health care and public education for illegal aliens and their multitudinous offspring. A Federal judge subverted the people's will by declaring the new law "unconstitutional." In January 2002, a similar debate raged in Arizona where -- wholly at taxpayer expense -- illegals are given expensive, state-of-the-art medical care denied to many Americans.

The INS is staffed and run by Third Worlders similar to the geniuses that we employ in the U.S. Postal Service.

Jorge Bush has encouraged this, saying all along that we must open our borders to even more Third World immigration. Just before September 11th, Bush proposed legalizing 11 million illegal aliens.

Jorge Bush presents a stetson to Mexican leader Vincente Fox (July 2001)

"New World Order" Bush is a joke and so are the "conservative" Republican morons who adore him.

America needs a real conservative as President to protect our borders, to expel illegal aliens, to create an INS that employs genuinely patriotic Americans....

Former INS head and Clinton stooge Doris Meissner
(Now working for the America-hating Carnegie Endowment for International Peace)

During the 2000 elections, former Vice Traitor Al Gore relied on the "Import-A-Vote" scheme of the Traitor-in-Chief Bill Clinton's Jewish collaborator, former INS head and "New World Order" bureaucrat Doris Meissner, who saw to it that at least 1 million illegal aliens -- including at least 60,000 with violent criminal histories -- were made "citizens" to put Gore in the White House.

Current INS head James Ziglar (February 2002)
(Addressing a pro-immigration forum for New World Order "Washington insiders")

The latest revelation regarding the Immigration & Naturalization Service's criminal incompetence and treasonous agenda was so shocking that Congressman Tom Tancredo (R-CO) called for the immediate dismissal of INS Commissioner James Ziglar.

Representative Tancredo chairs the Congressional Immigration Reform Caucus and is a long-time outspoken critic of America's suicidal immigration policies.

Representative Tom Tancredo (R-CO)

"In light of the complete inability of the INS to carry out its responsibilities to the American public, it is appropriate for the INS commissioner to be removed," Tancredo said, calling his attack on Ziglar's incompetence "substantive" as well as symbolic. "This [the terrorist visa fiasco] is just the tip of the iceberg. Even though it's not the most serious problem that currently afflicts the INS, it's one that has galvanized the attention of the nation. The fraud and incompetence within the INS is out of control and has skyrocketed to the level that warrants the immediate dismissal of its commissioner."

James Ziglar (far right) pays court to a slouching Ted Kennedy (February 2002)
(Ziglar was recently Kennedy's Senate doorman)

James Ziglar was a political hack appointed to his post by President Bush as a willing lackey who would never dare defy orders. Professionally a lawyer and investment banker, Ziglar worked in the Reagan White House as an Assistant Secretary of the Interior. Ziglar's last job, ironically enough, was as the Senate's doorman, where he was doubtless more careful about who gained admission.

In his statement to the press, Tancredo was foolish or mendacious enough to blame the INS's misdeeds on "bureaucratic ineptitude" rather than their true cause, the desire of America's treasonous Washington leaders to turn our great First World republic into a Third World banana one. But the Colorado legislator was at least outspoken enough to quote the following outrageous statistics as proof of INS culpability:

The INS has a backlog of nearly 5 million visa applicants.

The databases tracking visa issuances, criminal records and entry/exit records are not linked to share information.

50% of INS managers rate their unit morale as "fairly low" or "very low."

Adjudication officers are discouraged from investigating fraud-related cases.

A 90% percent fraud rate was recently found among 5,000 INS petitions and a follow-up analysis indicated that only one application out of 1,500 was not fraudulent.

There are 115,000 people in the U.S. whom the INS cannot account for.

Between 300,000 to 1 million people ordered deported are still in the U.S.

In October and November of 2001, 7,000 visas were issued from countries in which Al-Qaeda is active.

To which we add, among many other horrifying immigration statistics, that the U.S. Border Patrol stops over 1 million illegals from crossing the Mexican border annually; that over 500,000 are not stopped; and that 15% of all felons incarcerated in California are Mexican nationals.

Captured Mexican illegals
(Violent criminals invading America)

President Bush claims that he was "plenty hot" when he heard of the visas fiasco and calls it an "interesting wake-up call for the INS." But -- liar that he is -- Jorge continues to support, as he did before September 11th, legislation aimed at filling America with even more hordes of Mexicans and other illegal Third World immigrants unworthy of our hospitality, much less our citizenship.

Especially at our expense!

(An unwed Hispanic mother and child, an Arab Marine and Arab propagandist James Zogby)

On March 12, 2002, Tancredo was on television debating amnesty for illegal aliens with Congressman Eliot Engel (D-NY), a self-hating Jewish politician unabashed in his support of Orwellian Bolshevism. Rather than admit, as his opponent claimed, that the White House was "pandering to the Hispanic vote," Engel stated boldly that the new laws "support reality. People may not like it that millions of illegal aliens are in the country, but it's a fact of life. We have to revisit our immigration policy [which Engel claims is too strict]. Bush is showing compassion and doing the right thing."
