Some Jews have prospered there, but it's a stone cold fact that there are many less Jews in Europe today than there were 70 years ago. Probably better to break it down by country -- Jews have done okay in England, not so well in Poland, Russia, and Germany. To be fair ,Turkey accepted Jewish refugees after King Ferdinand of Spain ordered them out. One of Turkey's ambassadors also saved Jewish lives during the Holocaust of World War II.

Jews and Turks have had excellent relations since even before the New World was discovered by Chris Columbus. They have always been our most reliable friends. If you would like some information about the relations between Jews and Turks I would recommend this site:

Muslim Turks may have accepted some Jews after the reconquest of Spain from the Muslims (for their own benefit) but it didn't take too long for them to butcher millions of Christians living in Asia Minor and the Balkans for a thousand years.
