I always wondered about those "magic" $1000 power cords. They plug them into outlets which are connected by romex to the breaker box, and thence to the power meter, and to the substation box. Shouldn't these same folks make sure to get the same fancy wire all the way back to at least the sub-station??

On the other hand, the new power conditioners which maintain a steady, clean 120 nominal volts for home theatre systems is OK for around $700-$1500 dollars.

I use Winmx. Like the other guy said, only download from people with T1 T3 or Dsl. Also, click on the "ping all results" button, and the ping numbers come up. Try to pick the lowest possible ping number. If its less than 100, it should download really fast. Whats cool about Winmx, is that, unlike Napster, if your download should fail, you can resume from where it got cut off, instead of having to start all over again. This is really useful if you're downloading long tracks, such as live mixes.

Try old, stupid and greedy! Two hundred million people could write, phone and email this parasite about an issue...and he would ignore them. Disney gets his attention though. He's just like an old prostitute...ugly and money hungry.

Sucky music in 2001. I would say that music has sucked big time over the last decade. "Music" is now marketed rather than created. Outlets for new music and bands are limited with many radio stations being run as businesses instead of a fine balance between business and creative out. Corporate takeover of radio has hurt music. And look at MTV which once used to play music videos all the time-now it is full of whining PC programs with faggot propaganda. Don't kids have fun anymore growing up instead of whining about their angst-ridden effeminate lifestyles? During Clinton's first years, I believe a bill was passed which allowed owners to own and run more than one radio station in a market. Many good stations disappeared since then because formats were changed by the corporations to kill competition in a single market and the music was standardized or programmed like classic rock stations. DJs can rarely play new music or express their individuality, nowadays. You have to go to smaller area markets to find radio stations with some individuality and ability to play a wider range of music which interestingly are more conservative markets. Big government or corporations using big government leads to loss of individuality and creativity.
