[history]
WASHINGTON - Gun-control advocate Sarah Brady bought her son a powerful rifle for Christmas in 2000 - and may have skirted Delaware state background-check requirements, the New York Daily News has learned.
Brady reveals in a new memoir that she bought James Brady Jr. a Remington .30-06, complete with scope and safety lock, at a Lewes, Del., gun shop.

I sympathize with Sarah Brady. Her husband's head injury was severe enough to turn him into a Democrat.ROTFL!

So nice to see Sarah caught in the web of her own makingIndeed it is, akin to the satisfaction brought on by the proverbial "after sex cigarette." However, absolutely nothing will come of this, nothing. The elite are somehow exempted from the ramifications of breaking laws.
But, she knows she did, and that fact is only superceded by the fact that, soon, she will know that we all know she did as well.
Bwahahahahahahahahaaaaaa! Poetic justice reigns supreme.

If she and her son are in violation, charge them both. Neither should never be allowed to legally own a gun again.

Nail this lady on conspiracy to violate federal firearms laws.
Make so that she can never own a gun legally again, after all that's what she's trying to do to us. Let her see how it feels.

Hey Sarah only wants to disarm the great unwashed masses, not the important people like herself.

I still say I think she made this up to show she isn't against hunters but only evil handguns
This story has a smell to it
I don't believe it

On second thought, maybe this is a plot hatched by Handgun Control, Inc., to convey to people that it doesn't really want to rip up the Second Amendment; it just wants "gun safety." It wouldn't surprise me.

"Do as I say, not as I do", the liberal mantra. Just another daily example of this nonsense.

That's what I have been posting. I think she made this up

Ah, if you're talking about the article itself, I didn't post it. If, however, you're speaking to my comment and the same comment was posted in the "other" article, ya think I'm gunna weed through 250+ comments BEFORE I post mine here? Why? That's an idiotic procedure. I'm sure my fellow Freepers will understand. GEEZ, settle down Comment Cop.

Does Sarah have any idea how President Reagan, her poor husband, and the others would have fared had John Hinckley chosen to use a 30.06 rifle to carry out his insane mission??

I don't believe it Doesn't matter. If the story is true, then she should be arrested and charged.
If the story is not true, then it should be publicized and made to show that here is a woman (I so wanted to use the b-word!) that is willing to lie, and has lied in writing too.
