As a recent (1997) Catholic University graduate, I am happy to see this school be formed, depite open criticism from nearby Jesuits. Non-Caholics don't realize how far to the left many Catholic Universities have moved, even on social issues. SO much for the fiction that the Catholic Church is a "right wing" institution.

Critics have said his strong backing of the school is to push a conservative agenda and produce lawyers who will side with the church on key issues like abortion and divorce. The horror of it!
