When is US going to realize that by trying to appease to the Arabs to take on Iraq, Arab terrorists are increasing terror in Israel to protect Iraq from US coalition w/Arab states.

I seriously doubt we'll take on Iraq any time in the near future. We're still bogged down in Afghanistan and Pakistan trying to prove there's more than a handful of locals who could ever be US friendly.

An attack on Iraq would mean our people in Afghanistan and Pakistan would be instantly slaughtered. Not to mention the troops in Saudi or even Indonesia. We have to pretend that Islam is a religion of peace, so we can build our oil pipelines--no matter how many in the West or Israel are slaughtered.

It won't. it will just transfer the problem. It won't solve it. What will solve it? I don't know. I know in the west, we are taught to respect all cultures and peoples. It's a pretty anti-humanist message. How do you deal with that? Negotiate with it? Why? They want you dead. Kill it? Can all be killed? -- probably not. An offer was on the table in 2000 to withdraw from the Occupied Territories and to even cede East Jerusalem.

Isn't the "occupied" land that the "palestinians" claim actually land that Israel took after they were attacked by the Arabs ? And aren't palestinians who claim to be "refugees" those who were told (by the attacking Arabs) to leave these areas, until Israel had been wiped off the map, then they could move back in victory ? An aggressive attacker who loses in a war that they started doesn't get to say "oops--that didn't work, we were only kidding, give us the land back", do they ??

You are absolutely correct. Not only that, but the "occupied" land, and much more, was promised to the Jewish people by the Allies after World War I. The Turkish Empire, which had brutally ruled the mostly barren land for many hundreds of years, was in cahoots with the Kaiser during the war.
