President Bush and First Lady Laura are on their way to Latin America for a four-day trip with visits to Mexico, Peru and El Salvador. In a stop-over in El Paso, TX, Bush spoke to a crowd about increasing security at our nation's borders. He also visited a local customs inspection area. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Oh for heavens sake......Bush let the republicans in the senate and house know from the git go (in so many words) that if THEY did not stop a campaign finance bill but helped pass one through, he WOULD sign it. I am ashamed that lugar joined forces with McCrazy on this as he is my senator. I hope with all of your whining and complaining that you took the time to call the republican senators and vascillating Dem senators to voice your opinion-if you didn't-shame on you.

Uh - I woke up about 3:30 AM EST - due to the "Howlin" winds pressing the tree limbs against my windows! :-) You say you were going to sleep about that time? Goodness. I am one of these old people who needs at least 4 hours of sleep a night..... to function.... :-)
