How would everyone feel if Dubya was signing a gun control bill? Would you still say that we should just leave the decision up to the USSC?

Another thing I love about this president and his administration he doesn't spend valuable time wringing his hands over hypotheticals. Why put yourself through this stress over something that is not an issue? Let's deal with the reality of the Congress passing CFR after all the calls and letters they have received, President Bush will receive the bill, sign or not sign it.

Isn't that enough to keep you awake at night? Why manufacture stress that's not even an issue?

I think the world of John. But he is as off-base as Howlin and Texasforever upon this issue. America is going to suffer with these beliefs .... and it will occur, pretty damn quick, too.

THOUGHT: Maybe Bush realizes that our only future friends will reside in North America given that Europe is moving towards one big socialist state with German and French leaders who dislike America. Why not nuture Canada and Mexico and say piss off to Europe (well, maybe not England if they follow what Thatcher said recently)
