All I can say is that this thread is a good example of the fact that it was a mistake allowing women to vote. Good night ladies. (very loose interpretation of the word)

Senator McConnell already said he is going to take this to the USSC

And I'll donate to the fund to do this when they publish the website or the address.

One of the greatest boxers was Mohammed Ali, who used rope a dope every now and then to get through a rough round. Being President is an insane strategy and juggling match, and I voted for Bush because I trust him to do THE BEST POSSIBLE, not Mission Impossible.

Anyone can go to Rush Limbaugh's website, go to the section where you see the little Gerald Ford and listen in. You will hear Bush' statement about why he will sign CFR.

I hope everyone who is against it will write president@whitehouse.gov and tell him your thoughts.

I love the man and think he has done a great job as president but this troubles me greatly.

I will agree with you on Rintense's loyalty and consistency. She's a great example for all of us. Howlin's another one. She must be related to the energizer bunny, she keeps going and going and going...:}

It has been frustrating hearing post after post of what Bush will do or want do, but it is refreshing that our concerns are about issues and not President Bush's infidelity. I believe that he loves this country and will do what's right to protect his children and mine.

In order to keep each branch of government healthy and in tact, I have no fear of him signing this bill. I'm glad to know that there is a Senator and a group of lawyers ready to take the next step to challenge the unconstitutional parts of the bill.

One thing that Bush did run on when he campaigned and that was restoring America's purpose. For all those who have yelled the loudest CFR has not hindered the individual citizen from doing their part in gathering to defeat a particular candidate locally. It really might cause many of us to do more grassroots and actually talk to our neighbor to educate them on what's happening and to get out and VOTE.

It's one thing to sign an online petition or send a letter or I guess write a scathing post about how bad it is, but really how many of us actually live with a family that is as interested in politics or know people outside of FR that talk this stuff as much as we do? The heart of the President is in God's hands, He can turn it whither so ever He chooses.

I've come a long way in just a few hours, LOL, I've read several posts that all I could think of was "why don't they shut the Hell up". Prayer does work. Thanks Rintense for all the "Doses" I've missed.

I'm a man, and that statement about the women here on this thread exposes just how ignorant you are. Your true colors have come out

AND DON'T YOU DARE CALL OHIOWFAN PATHETIC!!!

It's because of people like her that we have a Republican president in the first place. Without people like her we wouldn't have a tax cut, we wouldn't be winning the war on terror, our economy would not be recovering, our military would still be in a shambles with low morale and underfunding, we wouldn't be developing a missile defense system, we wouldn't be trying to develop more and better sources of energy, we wouldn't be trying to fix the educational system, and we wouldn't have a first Lady who is the epitome of grace.

NO, instead we would be bound to the Kyoto Treaty, more of the Western US would be in the hands of the Federal government, we would have a far more egregious CFR, we'd have a disastrous patients bill of rights, we'd have gun control up the yin-yang, and we'd have Yassar Arafat yuking it up in the Oval Office. IS THAT WHAT YOU WANT?

I've been reading and posting on this thread for about as long as Rintense has been posting it. You can't even believe just how silly you sound. I'll let it go because you are to infatuated and this is too much of a little womans club to bother...

All I can say is that this website is a good example of the fact that it was a mistake allowing anyone to vote. Democracy doesn't work.

I'm so glad the first post in reply to this was negative and about CFR because that is exactly what i was thinging. I really don't see how we can be all giddy about this. This bill is by all defintions, unconstitutional. Maybe Bush and Rove have some masterful strategy up their sleeve, but I don't think I will ever admire him the way I have in the past.

Ok, now I will take offense at this. You are slamming all women now and that is just not right. Plus, OhioWfan has been just as loyal as any of us, and I commend her nightly posts. But she is by no means pathetic. Insinuating or not, that's just a low blow.

"sunshine patriots jump ship like RATS."

I suppose you're a regular armchair Paul Revere? My God. I said I was disappointed with Dubya signing this bill. I didn't say I wasn't going to support him. As I said, I went to the State ccapitol in Tallahassee in order to protest for Dubya. I was listed with other FReepers in a Washington Times article because I was protesting MSDW hiring Bill Clinton, and I am a sunshine Patriot? You are a piece of work...

Try and criticize a fringe republican who is so arrogant and self-righteous that he is harming the GOP and see what happens.

EXACTLY.

"All I can say is that this thread is a good example of the fact that it was a mistake allowing women to vote"

And you claim to be concerned about the constitution with this remark.

Your post is refreshing. You state your position, encourage people to contact the president with their feelings on the issue, and you don't attack anyone at all. I wish more posts on this issue (and a few others) were like yours.
