Then they go and tell us that the problem is that priests need to be able to marry. Now that makes sense. Marry whom? Teenage boys? The molesters probably wouldn't marry anyway. Their superiors, though, might tend to do a lot more about this problem if they had personally experienced just how precious children are to their parents.
I'm not sure that a non-parent can really know how a father feels about his children.

I'm a non-parent. I understand....and the good dads really do care, the good parents do. Maybe not totally understand, but I know how my husband-to-be feels so protective over me. I'm not sure we're going to have kids (he doesn't want any due to the state of the world), but we have cats and he's great with them (they're our children :)

That's what I'm saying. The problem is they are GAY, not that they need to be able to marry. They can't be too interested in women if they go after teenage boys. It has nothing to do with not being married or not having sex.
