Hi everybody. I'm checking on all of my Texas friends. We are about to flood away here. Our back yard is a LAKE!!! And we are under a tornado watch. WHAT A MESS!! I just hope that we don't get water in our house. Some of our neighbors do have water in their homes. But the good news is that the lake is full!!!! YIPPEE!!!!

Hope you're not having hail along with the storms, Sassy. The water will subside - the hail has a way of making such a mess, damaging roofs and paint on the house, etc! Not to mention what it does to your car if you get caught out in it! Take care - we're getting close to tornado season, aren't we?

Hi friends. We are drowning too. I'm not kidding. As I type this note, I have 1 inch of water underneath me. If I put my feet down, they get wet, so I sit on them. Our office floor leaks when it rains. It's a horrible mess we never got fixed. Insurance won't cover it, so we just deal with it when it rains. I hate this house. Sigh... I have all the power cords up high so they can't get wet.

I was thinking we needed some serious rain, but geeeze.....

Yikes,my gosh. That is a lot of rain. I know how it feels, from living in Malibu with mud slides and whew all kinds of things. Keep in touch if you can.
