Problem is, while the Dems may be complaining, we the taxpaying public are stuck with the education bill that Bush signed and thanked Kennedy for. More spending, more big government, no vouchers. If the definition of victory is screw the public as long as the Dems are unhappy, I guess that's good... Who says that Bush won't get the Vouchers passed through the Congress??
Sometimes to reach a goal, one needs to take baby steps
Give you an example .. The tax cut .. Bush didn't get everything he wanted the first time around .. But that doesn't mean he can't try again
And Gee I'm sitting here watching the News and what is he doing now .. Pushing for more tax cuts..
Don't give up so easily
I haven't "given up" mol, I love America as you do. Part of fighting the fight is holding accountable even those politicians who we think are our allies. One must look in all directions to ward off fire. I did applaud Bush when he enacted the tax cuts last year. I'd like to see more of that kind of "compromise" in other parts of the domestic agenda, as well as in further tax reform.
