I'm seeing that it's time, once again, for me to write another polite note to our President asking him to put some spine in the senior Republican leader's backbone; and thrash T-O-M = The-Obstructionist-Master.

Democrats then arranged a photo opportunity of cots and mattresses being delivered to the Capitol so that senators could take naps during the non-stop debate. Republican aides dismissed the move as unnecessary. First I heard of this - I guess the photo-op was deemed stupid and no one reported it.

Top Republican aides predicted Monday that an expected parliamentary fight over a campaign finance bill opposed by most Republicans as unconstitutional would be "anti-climatic." Parliamentary?? WTF is parliamentary? Shouldn't this say congressional.

When Bush signs this (and his flunkies keep saying he will), who should we conservatives support against Bush in 2004? Just curious what are the opinions. I assume Keyes and Buchanan would be on that list. Can they beat Bush?

A fight in the Senate could have clearly defined the issues for the public. Isn't it wonderful to know that while we're planning to hit the streets in order to inform the public, the Senate relinquished it's duty to do so.
Trent, you never cease to be a big disappointment.

This makes me feel very ill. I'm going to make some chicken soup tomorrow. I believe Bush is going to sign it. Thus far, from what I've been reading on FR, our president keeps expanding government in a good socialistic manner and is a spend, spend, spend president having no regard for our money. From what I've seen, he is no conservative. He is giving our money away as if it were his own private bank account, and now I believe he is about to sign into law something that is unconstitutional. We have made an expensive mistake in more ways than not. And no, Gore was not the answer nor anybody else in the democrap party.

We have most of FR and Rush Limbaugh also Ken Starr was very much against it. Savage and a lot of moderate Republican's are for it. I do not know if we have enough fire-power to fight it. But I will write the pres. anyway. And tell him he has to give his party something or he will lose a lot of votes.

Let's see, the republicans hold the White House, the house of representatives by 6 votes. The democrats hold the senate by 1 vote. The republicans can't do anything but implement the democrat agenda. Am I missing something here?.
