John Lydon could probably be considered a moderate conservative, just not a Torie (thank God) which is why he now lives in the USA. I'll never forget when PIL went on tour with Big Audio Dynamite a few years back sponsored by GM, he vehemently defended the corporate sponsorship and accused his critics of being lefties with no sense of reality.

Ugh, Tories! They're the kind of folks who give conservatism a bad name. Granted, Winston Churchill was a stand-up guy, but he's about the only exception.

And I don't know about you, but I don't particularly care for the neo-conservatives either: David Horowitz, William Kristol, Charles Krauthammer, Jonah Goldberg, and their ilk. I just really dislike these people a lot.
