This man is extremely self-absorbed. He also seems rather detached from reality.

Mr. Yates:
Why not let the flies disburse over this pile of road apples before moving on bubb! You shows all the remorse of a wild boar.

He also said he doesn't know whether he will remain married to Andrea or how often he will visit her in prison. He said he misses the companionship of a wife and may like to have more children.Riiiiiiiiight.
This guy needs a shrink.
misses the companionship of a wife
May I suggest he get a dog.

This man belongs in a jail cell for 5-15 for his part in the death of his children..
He is in denial and shifting the focus and the blame..but the man was right there with that woman as those babies were killed!

OK, OK I've had sympathy until now. This man is more depraved than deprived.

The normal reaction here would be to grieve over your children, wondering if you could ever face having children again reflecting back on the loss. Not this guy. He's ready to move on. This is a very powerful statement about this man's state of mind. It's disgusting and scary at the same time. It's so uncharacteristic that it causes me to ponder if he instigated his wife's actions or not. I have never understood his undying support for his wife against these charges. Something's up with this guy!

I also remember a guest on the O'Reilly Factor who had talked to R. Yates and quoted Rusty as saying O'Reilly "had no heart!"

"He said he misses the companionship of a wife and may like to have more children."One is left with the unmistakeable impression that Russell Yates's head is comprised of 99.9% pure grade A bone.

As a Texan, I view this man as our version of O. J. Simpson. He is responsible. As any husband and father knows, he is responsible to see to the health of his wife and the safety of his children. Those responsiblities come before any of his own needs or desires. He failed, and may have been complicit in his wife's act.
Regardless of what our legal system may say, the man is morally responsible for the tragedy.

The man is disgusting. The graves of his children have hardly sprouted daisies - and he has visions of morphing into "Disco Stu" at the nearest Holiday Inn.

What a charmer! On the day his wife gets sentenced to life in prison, he goes before TV cameras & says he the companionship of a wife & wants more children. How sensitive, caring and sharing! Why, I just can't wait to sidle up Rusty at a singles mixer & ask if he'd like to go out.

His future should be in the cell next to his wife, if true justice were to be served.
