Betting it'll be life. They would have discussed the death penalty longer.
To: hellinahandcart
gotta agree, although I think they decided her fate the other day.
To: hellinahandcart
The prosecution didn't push for the death penalty. And juries traditionally have been reluctant to sentence a woman to death. I think it'll be a life sentence.
To: hellinahandcart
My guess is Life in Prison also...
To: hellinahandcart
Death is justice served quickly, life is more cruel for the perp. Looks like a winner either way.

Rush L just said the verdict was in...not announced yet.
More to follow as announced.

If she gets the needle, it'll be interesting to watch the feminazis trash the jury.

Where's your compassion? She and her husband should have a second chance, like he alluded to.
To: Oldeconomybuyer
The murderous b!tch deserves the needle.
Since this is Texas, I think she's going to get it.

Really? What does Rush know the rest of us don't?? ;-)
To: Oldeconomybuyer
They should give her death by drowning.
To: TomGuy
CNN - Jury took only 40 minutes to decide the sentence...

Karla Faye Tucker...this IS Texas, but I guess we'll see.
To: Oldeconomybuyer
What was the SENTENCE? C'mon don't leave us in suspense here... :)
To: GuillermoX
Guillermo, you simply MUST remember that sarcasm tag. People will misunderstand you.
"Life" in Texas means 40 years before parole. They'll have that second chance in their golden years.
To: goldstategop
Susan Smith didn't get the death penalty either. And she's "rational."

(03-15) 11:38 PST HOUSTON (AP) -- A jury took just less than an hour Friday to decide whether Andrea Yates should live or die for drowning her children in the bathtub. The verdict was to be announced later in the day.
Earlier Friday, prosecutors told jurors there were reasons to send her to death row for drowning her children but said they could accept a life prison term.

If they put this B!tch down I will be having a good riddance party at my house...
To: goldstategop
We haven't heard the decision yet,, hang on for it.
