I don't think she will be getting out. It is 40 years before she is even eligible. In Texas, being eligible is not the same as being released. A fact which many a dismayed prisoner has learned.

Her children could not be reached for comment.

Don't forget the cost of continuous psychiatric treatment. This will be a high maintenance prisoner. And remember the costs to all of us during the many years of her appeals.

Russell Yates said he was "offended" that they even prosecuted her. As for the murder of his 5 children, apparently no offense was taken there. Why can't they prosecute this sack of excrement for aiding and abetting?
