They had the Senate. They pissed it away. Vacant Lott started with a strong 55-45 majority in 1994 and totally squandered it, losing more seats every two years ever since. He's just a damn pompom eunuch with a bad rug, and his party keeps him in place. What does that tell you?

Turf war began when repubs took the White House. What in the "Sam Hill" is a democrazy being nominated for an FCC position anyway? The FCC doesn't need Dasbad Daschle's aide anyway. There aren't enough repubs that could fill the job? Dasbad's aide is positioning himself to become a leak for the democrazies.

Daschle, in response, said that could backfire on Bush's other nominees in the Democratic-controlled Senate. "I would think they would want our cooperation in moving other nominees," the South Dakota Democrat said.
