Whether or not this e-mail seriously came from a citizen of Saudi Arabia, it does make one give pause and think.

It has the ring of truth. But if it came from a real Saudi, he'd better hope they can't trace the sender.

Susan Sontag and Bobby Fischer got front page billing in the Saudi press for comments supportive of the 9/11 attacks

Guess that means Raimondo doesn't even "rise to the level" of Susan Sontag or Bobby Fischer.

If this is this pre-dawn protocol, then I guess...sky's the limit for propaganda.

Thanks for setting a new 'sub-standard'...I'll re-caliber my webnews-crawler!!

WOW!

Whether a true Saudi or not, he basically put into words what many of us FReepers are coming around to believing. By now, we have all pretty much realized that Islam is not a peaceful religion. It is disturbing to read that the tolerance our government encourages and/or forces us to adhere to might bring about our own downfall, via our 'acceptance' of the supposedly more moderate Islamists living among us.

I think they see us as their new frontier, a nation to be conquered while we cower in guilt behind the wrongs of past generations.

Well, personally, I feel no guilt, so let them do their best and they can meet with my constitutional right to bear arms!!

Yes, real or not, it rings true. And deeply troubling.

In the other great wars in American history, we knew the size of our enemy, fairly accurately, from the get go.

In this war, the enemy seems to be a state of mind (er well, of passion) held by perhaps a hundred million Muslims. Because America is in no position to identify them, much less do battle with them, simultaneously and immediately, and because to do so would be unconsionable genocide, not conventional war, we have absolutely no choice but to pick and choose our battles.

But this leads us to the precarious position of not knowing our enemy. Our President's words, and the common understanding of the people is that we are fighting perhaps tens of thousands of terrorists, not hundreds of millions of hearts filled with hatred.

This strikes me as a great, albeit seemingly necessary, deception. However I believe, deeply, that great deceptions come home to roost, sooner or later.

Dark times ahead ...

This is a very disturbing letter because it contains the truth. What do we do about it? We have a President who talks Home Security and then enacts legislation contrary to our safety. He panders to the American Muslims by trying to downplay the Jihad agenda. I voted for Bush, but I have to tell you....I may not the next time. He's looking like a stinking politician just like the rest of them. It's heartbreaking.

I still think the worst enemies of the USA in the whole world, are the leftist authorities under whose heel we live right here.

Even if an "Islamic bomb" were to drop, you can be sure that the left's armies and national guard would use its guns only against Americans who tried to survive, while protecting Muslims and other anti-American elements who support the Left's agenda.

Once there are no Anglo-Americans remaining alive in the Country, I do not know who will save any of the Left who were of that ethnicity, from the various elements they led and paid for. I also do not care.

Don't get me wrong. I hope the Second Coming occurs soon too. But if not, we are only some 75 years away from the death of the last anglo-American. Don't bother buying a tombstone for yourself, no one could read it anyway. And don't put a cross on it. You might put a message in Spanish saying that your teeth are all plastic, no silver or gold.

My feeling is the author expresses the views of the vast majority of his country, fellow Arabs and Muslims towards the United States that they have learned not to say on camera. But that they've refrained from saying it openly does NOT mean they're not anti-American. They are. And if you really need proof of how 9-11 hasn't changed American Muslim's hatred of America, just look at the flock of American Muslim organizations that came out on behalf of Jamil Al Amin. This is the true attitude of the cult that President Bush and the American Left naively describe as the "religion of peace." Fortunately, ordinary Americans do seem to get it --- and this new enemy is not going to go away anytime soon.

Living where I do and speaking Arabic, I hear this sort of thing all the time from Muslims. No suprises here, and whether or not it is genuine in and of itself -- it is genuine in its representation of the majority of Muslim opinion in Egypt if not Saudi Arabia.

"Do not forget that radical Islam is more pervasive in the Arab world than Christianity is in the West. There is no "dissent" or "constructive engagement". The goal of Islam is to destroy anything or anyone that is not Islam. The US is responding, but your intelligence services are still sclerotic and slow. Are you paying attention America? There are two fronts on this war: one military (9/11) and one political.

"It surprises us moderate Muslims to see half of American society help radical Islam kill America and the West."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Very clear concise and chilling as it does no have the usual attempt to angle, frame and hype in the way we are continually inundated by our medias.
Considered objectively ..... it is worth reading every morning and passing on to all we know. Not simply saying and thinking ...hmmmmmmmm ... and then going on to the next post and letting it fall through the cracks.
Is the premise true? It rings of truth and clarity. It is even a signed piece; whether authentically or not, who knows? It does not have the 'smell' of falsehood apparent in it and ... If ... it is fact: what can we do to signal the complacency of America, gain attention of the powers that be, as well as rouse the power of the people and their outcry?
Are we simply so bound to our life of entertainments and idle things, we are going to look askance and do nothing?
Muslims have outnumbered all other religions. It is the basis of their life. They know we are 'infidels' and theirs is not a religion of freedom and compassion.
This email letter raises the hair on the back of my neck.
"Whether or not this e-mail seriously came from a citizen of Saudi Arabia, it does make one give pause and think."
To post an anonymous email making charges of this kind goes way beyond merely irresponsible -- it is legally actionable. I hope David Horowitz gets the libel suit he's asking for. But why post this here, which could get FR in legal hot water?
This phony letter is a provocation, pure and simple, and the "ex"-Communist Horowitz knows it. It just goes to show that he's taken all the old Commie tricks along with him on his journey to the Nutball Right. I would say "David Horowitz, shame on you!" -- but since it is well-known that Horowitz has no shame, it would be a waste of breath.
