I RECEIVED the following email from someone describing himself as a "Saudi Citizen." I have no way of knowing whether it is authentic, but its particulars seem accurate to me and I invite readers of FrontPage to comment.

Message from a Saudi Citizen
Do not forget that radical Islam is more pervasive in the Arab world than Christianity is in the West. There is no "dissent" or "constructive engagement". The goal of Islam is to destroy anything or anyone that is not Islam. The US is responding, but your intelligence services are still sclerotic and slow. Are you paying attention America? There are two fronts on this war: one military (9/11) and one political.

Islam is colonizing the US, Europe and Asia. Bush is wrong to say that most American Muslims are anti-Terrorism. If they did not cheer in the streets on 9/11, they cheered in their homes. I was with Hussein Ibish and Hamid Faraoui that day, watching them cheering and singing, then denouncing the attacks on TV later that day. Khatami, Hussein and Assad reach out to US democrats, journalists, etc. Many Arabs loved the remarks of President Carter, joking "we may have to kill him last."
Ordinary Americans are rising to the occasion, showing patriotism, sacrificing husbands and fathers. Your coastal elites are assisting radical Islam. They want America to be tolerant of terrorism and to imagine themselves guilty of previous generations crimes. We watch your news. We know this is true. [Bill] Moyers goes as far as saying Judaism, Christianity and Islam are equally guilty of terrorism. These comments are played on Saudi TV amongst reports of Israelis eating Palestinian children. Susan Sontag and Bobby Fischer got front page billing in the Saudi press for comments supportive of the 9/11 attacks, flanked by a pair of stories detailing US racism against Muslims and the killing of Palestinian babies at Israeli hospitals. Lies, of course, but seem true next to actual comments by Americans.
It surprises us moderate Muslims to see half of American society help radical Islam kill America and the West. Your political left is justifying terrorism in the minds of the "Arab street" as you call it. They forget that Usama bin Laden has higher approval numbers in Saudi Arabia than Bush has in the US. Every bit of self doubt or anti-Americanism helps bin Laden. Every Saudi student that comes home after a US college education repeats the anti-Americanism he hears at university. "You see, they even hate themselves," is a refrain heard from many Saudi graduates of US universities.
I can't tell America what to do, but anyone can see what you are doing to yourselves.
Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Judging by the rate by which each generation gets progresively worse, I am not positive the generation that is alive in 75 years will be worth killing.
Ummm...did the poster strike a little too close to home, for you?
I don't think it will be nuclear but devastating it will be none the less,
then the gloves come off and the world will see what a bare knuckle brawler we still are.
Did you see the markets reaction to the explosion in Yemen yesterday...it was swift and sure to the downside...when the reports filtered in that it was "only a handgrende", the paper bulls started buying again...
Embry-Riddle
We [USA] recognize the right of people to the pursuit of life liberty and happiness [property]. It doesn't say that Americans rights are recongnized...it says the peoples right is recognized.
I suppose some crafty liberal lawyer could twist this into a right of trial...
So, the statutes which require that an alien get a trial to determine whether or not he is to be deported is all that even puts an alien on trial where the federal government must treat his privilege of visiting as a right. Repealing the statutes completely solves the problem because the Constitution doesn't compel government to recognize the right of foreign nationals to invade the US.
Nonsense.
If the author of this email is revealed to be a lifelong resident of Illinois, who has never been to Saudi Arabia, never been anywhere near the Middle East, and is neither Muslim nor even Arab--you gotta admit, it would blow the content to hell. It would be fiction. Agenda-driven fiction.
There's nothing in there that screams authenticity; it merely tells me what I want to hear. I could have written this myself. As far as the content itself, there's nothing startling or important or new enough to make me want to overlook the fact that it's an email that hasn't been verified. Anyway, concerning the content itself, it strikes me as the sort of piece that isn't written to change minds, rather to reinforce an existing belief (a belief which I happen to hold already, in case you hadn't guessed). So on the scale of importance, it just doesn't rate very high.
It bothers some that Horowitz is not a faggot!
BINGO! There it is!
This is the only effective way to go about this. Now for the hard part. Who will have the political courage to inact such a policy? We already see how the RATS are acting as far as profiling Middle Easterners is concerned. An old white lady or old black man will get virually stripped searched in airport security, but an 18-40 year old Middle Eastern man will NOT get searched at all. I remember Al Sharpton on The O'Reilly Factor saying how he was against profiling of any kind. This is senseless.
There will be a deafening, uproarious ruckus made at the mere mention of doing this. But, like I said, it is the only effective way to get a handle on the illegal immigrant problem.
Politically speaking, the Bush Administration can find cover if it goes about it this way, IMHO. Check this out. Bush needn't address the nation about this. What he should do is get with state governors and have them inact such policies. Let it be the power of each State to seek out the illegal immigrants. Since there is no federal law against profiling, there would be no way for Leftists such as the ACLU coming in and filing suits. Think this is a plan?
Wow. Can you believe we just agreed on something?
Some people are upset with him because he's a Jew and he's concentrating more on the source of our antagonists regarding the 9/11 attack instead of bashing Israel.
That being said I would have not posted such an anonymous/unverifiable (as far as I know) e mail like this anywhere publicly. This letter is not verified enough -- if at all -- for public consumption.
I know for supporters of Israel and Conservatives in general we have to suffer through the half truths and smears of the liberal media; unfortunately, the liberals and PLO propagandists can get away with it because of our leftwing press and we cannot. The press and in this case the anti-Semites could jump on this for letter for the sheer arbitrariness of its orgins. On the other hand, the press could claim Israel killed Muhammad Al Dura (Thinking the Unthinkable), be shown its mistake, and there will be no hue and cry about it.
This is unfair, but it's the reality Conservatives have to deal with.
Eventually, the hard edged truth will win out over the lies of the Liberals and the anti-Semites and we have to work on getting accurate bona fide information out; not putting out letters that can be so easily ridiculed.
"Be strong and of good courage."
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! Could not be more true under any circumstance.
In fact, from this point on, whenever I deal with an anti-Semite/anti-Israeli on FR I'm going to use what you wrote (with your permission of course). It cannot be stated enough.
Love, peace, and Afro Sheen. ;-)
What do you think of demanding a birth certificate before any welfare, food stamps, medical care, etc, be rendered as a start?
I thought that that was already a requirement. Guess I was wrong. At any rate, this should be necessary, so I agree with you.
