I wonder how the lot of the illegal immigration apologists like you and Dane would feel if the government gave criminals in our prisons a "get out of jail" card simply by filling out an application and paying a preset fee.

depends what kind of criminal. If the govt decided to ban guns and you were caught owning a gun, I'd support amnesty for you too :)
