We didn't access your card until just now (sorry...but there were other things to pay attention to!) Thank you for the card. I laughed and had a nice birthday. It's supposed to continue all day today. Thanks again. Linda

...He forgot to plug it in .. hehehe ... snicker .. giggle giggle ... hahaha ... hohohoho .... BWAHAHAHAHA"...

That's as funny as my genius uncle, the rocket scientist [he truly was both]...I was staying with he and my aunt and their family for a few weeks in Anaheim, CA., and he called from work [at that time he worked for North American Space Systems Division] and said he would be late for dinner; called back some time later and said he'd be home but had to get back--something about this 'fire suppression' system on board rockets.

He came home before too long, ate, took a shower, and headed back....had no idea when he would be back--there was something like 15 of these guys working to figure out what was wrong--they had some sort of deadline they were dealing with.

Aunt and I stayed up playing some card game after the kiddies were tucked in....midnight, 1 a.m., and bout 2 a.m., we heard his car pulling in. In he comes and not wanting to talk much about the 'problem'....after much cajoling by my Aunt and teasing by myself, with a sheepish grin he told us 'it wasn't plugged in'...that some custodian had come in the place they were asking if he could use a plug and one of the guys pointed to where their equipment should have been plugged in....Uncle said it looked like 15 lightbulbs came on above their heads!

I was sleeping. I do that sometimes. Then I had to go to the store. Now I have no intention of moving from this spot for hours!

Is it plugged in? is always a good first question...

Kids and I are going to see "Ice Age" today. I'll give a report later...

Sad isn't it ...

Yes Mo, it really is. Thank Heaven that you don't have a problem with language like that Prentice guy.

For sure that is a good question.....I wouldn't have asked the genius rocket scientists that, though! My poor uncle couldn't even change a washer in a faucet! Get a man to the moom--piece of cake! Go figure....

yeow - I let 10 days go by between gym visits. Not going to do that again. *L* Time to get the corned beef and cabbage and taters and onions for dinner tomorrow. I wonder if my green suit fits....

Yep--that is a no-no! Ouch! I've been faithful using my treadmill several times a day and then doing the B/D exercises! Its really starting to feel good--all the limbering up, that is! :)

Oh, you gym goers... I took last week off.. Hurt my elbow again a week from yesterday and so I decided rather than work around the injury, I'd take a break. Felt good. Was getting a little burned out . Monday it is back at it.

I notice the site is slow.

Seems like everything is slow today. I thought it was just me or my connection.

Hi CG....moi doesn't go to a gym.....I have a treadmill at home and I do B/D exercises. The only time I don't hit the treadmill at least 4x a day is when I go grocery shopping! LOL....that store is so huge, I wish they provided roller skates to use with the carts! I'm always on the fly there anyway!

I gained weight when I quit smoking, so I've been working at trying to build up the lungs and tighten things and remove things n' stuff! LOL....my daughter, the fitness nut tells me its a lot harder to take it off than it was to put it on--and not nearly as much fun! She spoke the truth! Oh well.....

I recall you re-hurting your elbow....how is it feeling now?

I've been doing this every day for probably 6 weeks or so....finally last Sunday, I decided not to....and Monday I wished I had--I think I'll be happier keeping everything limber!

Back when I had the ranch and when I first moved here with the livestock, I didn't have to worry about weight or body tone or whatever you call it....I was busy, busy....since getting rid of the critters, though.....

I've been getting on....and then getting off....and checking back in....and checking back off.

When I came on this time, I decided to be a little daring....have you heard of the Chippendale dancers? They have a web site....so I went there....there a photo gallery of the guys that you can click on and get a bigger picture.

Well.....there are 5 rows across and 5 down. I was so shocked on the 5th row--the first guy looks just like a guy named Mike, from New York, that I dated when I was 19 and 20. Back then, there was a dance called "bump and grind"....Mike and 3 of his buddies had rode motorcycles out to California from New York--they could surely dance that dance....what a hoot them teaching all the beach blanket bingo gang to bump and grind!

In So-Cal, there was some young clubs like the Peppermint Lounge--Dick Clark, Casey Cassom, and cripes, I can't think of the other guy......up on Ventura Blvd going into Studio City and on over to Hollywood and surrounding environs...geeze....amazing how memories can be stirred.

Chippendales huh? Well, to each each his own. I learned way too long ago that pretty packaging is quite often deceptive, but then I guess it's all in what you're looking for. I find that I am much more excited by somebody who is a good communicator with a quick wit and a sharp mind. Those are big time turn ons. Of course, I think men who aren't afraid to be romantic have an irresistable appeal as well. Looks alone just don't mean much.

LOL....Sweet--I didn't say I wanted to bring one home!!! It was more like looking at different flowers! They all looked on the 'skinny' side to me....not that there's anything much wrong with that, either.

Communication is the key to everything to my way of thinking....I don't ever want to 'train' another man to listen or talk...once in a lifetime is more than enough--the end result was worth it, but the agony suffered in getting there nearly ruined several lives!

I can't imagine a Chippendales guy being a real man in most of the important senses of the word. Just nice packaging, but hollow or too young to qualify as an adult.

I couldn't agree more. I have become far too spoiled by our collection of quirky FReeper characters. I mean when it comes right down to it, which would make for the livlier party....our wildly varied assortment of menfolk on this forum or a bunch of pretty boy juveniles?

Rowdee, I wasn't suggesting that you wanted to take one home. They don't make good pets anyway. It would cost a fortune just to keep them in mirrors and speedos.
