I was much younger then. I live a much more sedate life these days.

You mentioned skiing....I lived in Montana for 17 years....good snow country.....never wanted to ski, though.
It was enough for me to trudge through the snow at calving time or lambing time or kidding time....or feeding time! It wasn't bad when I was younger, but lordy, I dislike shoveling that stuff now.
To: Rowdee
I lived in central Idaho for a long time, skiied a lot. I don't miss shoveling snow, though. Now I even have a convertable! California has its drawbacks, but it has some compensations.

*L* Tom's chest looks exactly as it ought.
Prentice and Lovely Linda haven't been by yet to pick up her card.... tsk tsk .. you wouldn't think anyone would let a birthday celebration interfere with FReeopling!

This is funny, .38.....I'm in central Idaho; born and raised in California.....way toooooooooooo many drawbacks in Cali for me! LOL. I will be running over to So-Cal for 2 days next month....visiting daughter and she and i shall make a quick trip to see my Mom over there.

I'm certainly NOT complaining about Tom, no ma'am! Even Robert Mitchum didn't look bad. I even liked Victor Mature. And who couldn't fall for a Rhett Butler character.
Tom's supposed to be a conservative....though he's probably a moderate--is a hairy chest worth a moderate?....I can never find one far enough right to suit me completely. Please note: I exclude the nuts that many call 'right'.

I was going to tell you....I visited Pal Talk tonight for the first time in a long time...several months at least....I swear, it was sort of like a soap opera.....the time I was gone was akin to a commercial....nothing has changed....same complaints....same people. LOL! A real hoot...only I could stand more than a half hour of it.
To: Rowdee
I haven't done Pal Talk... I don't think I need another addiction. *LOL* My sound doesn't work on my puter anyway.
I think Mo fell asleep on her couch again this evening.
To: ValerieUSA
Fire Talk, IMO, was much better than Pal. Being able to have private 'phone' conversations or private rooms with whomever you want in there was neat.
But in areas where it is open to everybody, you tend to get everybody at least once in a while...and even though there's banning for language, it happens.
To: ValerieUSA
Well.....Prentice and the Lovely Linda have surely gotten back from a superb dinner out about town....I rather suspect they have something besides Free Republic on their mind.
To: ValerieUSA
Think I'm gonna hang it up for the evening....sitting here yawning and yawning....just looked at the clock! DUH! No wonder I'm yawning.
Hopefully will see y'all tomorrow.

"The democrats federalizing roller coaster standards... the bottom has been reached!" I wouldn't bet on that one! Every time you think they can't possibly get any worse, they always do!
To: sweetliberty
I have no dought the bottom has not been reached, but the snicker factor is reaching criticality!
To: operation clinton cleanup
Well, they would really be a riot if they weren't so dangerous!
To: Prentice
No way is this Philly bred lady heppin you Southerners.
And without her...you haven't got a chance. Well if the North doesn't get their act together ... then .. WATCH OUT .. South here I come ... hehe
